Description
For this self-initiated project, I wanted to promote the history of the five basic classifications of typefaces in a new and interesting way. Opposed to simply reading text on the history of typefaces and looking at an example on a 2D surface, why not give some life to history. Each individual pamphlet contains a brief history on one classification of a typeface. When opened, a letter pops out at the viewer, giving an example of that typeface accompanied by a brief history at the bottom as well as a small description of what letter is being shown for the viewer.

It took 2 pieces of paper to make this project, on for the pop up letter and text, and one for the gray background behind the letter.

Really nice designed, simple and effective, Everything communicates something, i love the white space all around, i love the texture, as well as the typeface. just wondering how it would look with the left paragraph aligned with the last sentence of the right paragraph, but as i said brilliant idea and ejecution!
i also like the idea that the letter is presented in each page poping up, i ve done a similar thing in a project of college representing behaviours in type
