I know it will sound stupid but.. how do i use this shell?

SuBZ-jsz, make sure you've downloaded the demo of AstonShell from [link] in case you don't already have it. It is shareware, so it'll require registration after 30 days (the shell, not the theme). It's got a nice installer.

Once AstonShell is installed, then you can unzip this theme into the "Themes" folder in your Aston folder. You'll probably want to download RainMeter and RainLendar, as well as their respective NonDisjunction themes in order to flesh out the suite. If you have any additional troubles or questions, contact me at [link]

Awesome how to download?

Hi, donsmith- The Download Button underneath the screenshot (the downward pointing arrow) should get you downloaded. I have seen instances where individuals haven't been able to download from DevArt due to locally set filters, however. Lemme know if this is a problem.

P.S.: The Theme is also available for download from [link]

To Biotech

I therefore modestly suggest Biotech in relation to this theme that yuo for the the future when uploading a theme:

1: specifies exactly what plug-in modeules yuo need to get this theme up and running. And in connection to that use's the exact name on the plugin's as it have under the section here under this homepage (Aston). This was one off the thing's which cofused med about this theme

2: and have link's to all off the different things that is connected to the theme (like yuo have to the rainlendar and rainmeter but dosen't have to the altdesk also in connection to this theme).

This will make it a lot easier for the many user's off yuor excellent theme's and last but not least for yuorself (yuo don't have to make so many answer's on the questions which come after yuo have uploaded a theme).

This would be a good suggestion for the Aston Community at large, because currently very few do it.

It's also comical, in a way. The majority of the community skins exactly the same subset of plugins and ancillary programs, yet the same questions continue to arise, as though theme users believe the authors are skinning entirely different things. It's forseeable that this behavior will do nothing more than accelerate and intensify with the advent of A2, reliant upon the plugin architecture.

strup, I'm not exactly sure why it's the hardest Aston or LiteStep theme to setup. 1) Download the zip, 2) unzip to Aston\themes. 3) make sure you have the plugins installed. Installed.

To get the Calendar and Meters, just copy the appropriate directories into your Rainlendar\skins folder or Rainmeter\skins folder.
Installed.

I'm really surprised at the quantity of inquiries at astonshell.com and here regarding the installation of standard Aston plugins. As long as the plugins are installed, there should be no more difficulty in installing this theme over any other submitted themes.

Phhh Mr Biotech this must be one off the hardest theme's (Aston anf Litestep) off yuors I ever have tried to setup.

By the way yuo forgot to mention that the Windowsblind-skin called "CrimsonMetal" also made by yuo matches this theme beautifully.

If anyone is interested in that also yuo can find it here:

(link):[link]

Use the search-function in the upper right corner at windowsblind to fin it.

Just type the search word either: Biothech (author) or CrimsonMetal (skin).

And yuo offcause also need the windowblinds if yuo should wish to use the skin above. It can be dowloaded (free) at the same place as the search-function (at the windowblindhomepage) or at the this homepage under software (above).

I like the things in the left courner, thats orginal.
But i think its to much bevel on the rest and the shadow look plumsy. And the innershadow is to dark!

Anton, comments appreciated! You've got a fantastic portfolio. I do think, however, that reducing the beveling will abolish the 3-Dimensional feel. Not really sure what you mean by the rest (assuming you mean "c"lumsy shadows and innershadow being to dark).
