Where'd you get the masks for the 2.0 versions? They definitely look like the kanohi you're portraying them as, but I've never seen them before, and I've seen at least pictures of every Bionicle set released.

The whole Omega Tahu joke started when Venom from TTV spoke of a dream he once had on a podcast in which he walked into a LEGO store and saw a box labelled "Omega Tahu". If you have the time just go on YouTube and search for the TTV Podcast(I forget which episode).

I absolutely love what you did to the twin great fire swords (or what ever you call them). Kinda meh on the arms though, as the elbows have zero armor on them and thus show the bone structure, but otherwise a very solid build.

Hey there Mr.Boltron, it looks like you're using a lightbox here but its a bit too small for this figure. I've run into this problem a few times to with my light box. A tip I have is to make sure there's some of the background margin on either side of the figure, and in post editing I up the brightness and contrast a bit, then I actually rectangle select that margin area and stretch it out so the edges disappear. I do this often and its not even noticeable, or at least if you're not looking for it it isn't. You could try that to clean up the photo.
And if this lightbox is too small, there's many companies out there that make them in bigger sizes. You could just buy a new lightbox since you already have the lamps. I now have two, one huge ass 48" one for my bigger MOCs and my 28" one that I've had for years now. Just shop around and see what's out there.
As for the MOC, great job as always. These really greebly detailed revamps of the new toa are pretty interesting. I'm curious to see what you'd do with Kopaka if you got the new version. The redesign you have now I don't think does him justice like Tahu's and Onua's.

Yes, this lightbox is pretty much small, which I got it from my father's friend. And that's true that the edges are awkward. I have the other Tahu pic, which basically he's kinda like in a walking pose, but one lava sword hides one leg of Tahu, just avoiding my Gali pic which welcometothedarksyde pointed out and I understood his point
Well, I have to order somewhere a huge lightbox for my next MOCs, but thanks for pointing out!

not a fan of the hands because of the look of 0 articulation. and umm.....open pistons on his legs

The hands actually have nice articulation. I've built them up just to try them out and they're really nice. the fingers move as well for what its worth, though they only fold in or out and cant spread out, but the wrist movement is almost better then a normal Lego bionicle/hero factory hand would.

It actually has wrist articulation, but it is sometimes awkward to turn it
