Hello, iam loving your WinLaunch App on my Desktop. Yesterday i installed it on my ASUS UX31A too. Its a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
Everytime i activate Winlaunch or press the "settings" button on the bottom, whole System is freezing. Without Winlauch all is running rock-solid stable. I tried many things to fix the problem... without success.
I tried:
-x64 Version
-x86 Version
- increase amount of VRAM (64MB - 256MB)
- all 3 Modes (Aero etc.)
I hope you can help me which things are causing the freeze.

Excellent utility!. One question: there is a way to send Winlaunch to background when I click a app within Winlauch so I can always view Winlauch? Thanks

Winlaunch takes windows closer to mac os. It really is very good. But one thing i noticed is that my graphics card temperature rises bu about 5-10C when i use it. Any others face this issue? I have an Asus G53jw.

This programs works really good so thank you very much!
It's however one thing that disturbs me, I can't add disk partitions. They just won't add, and since I use them as root for documents it's a bit disturbing. I hope it's not something with windows that prevents this.

Easy workaround: Create a disk shortcut by dragging the unit you want outside explorer. Use that shortcut with winlaunch instead. Save it somewhere safe first because if you delete the shortcut, winlaunch is not going to open it anymore.

i've installed visual studio 2012 a .net framework 4.5 and winlaunch stop working !!! any ideas ???

i have recently reintsalled my windows 7 x64 and tried running winlaunch again. when i try to drag a shortcut to winlaunch it crashes.
tried redownloading but same amd also tried running as administrator but no luck so far.

update: this only happens if i run the 64bit version. 32bit ver is working fine.

when you add more than one page, click on the "+" choose settings, click on Done, the application crashes.

I dont know if it is a bug or whatever but, when i don't click on a icon the program just closes -.- would appreciate a solution for that ^^

but you're missing the most important feature..
to be able to arrange the icons in place (Auto-arrange icons OPTION)

There's two very basic things this program is missing.
Right Click context menu is one of them, the other one is an "Apply" button.

i am loving this!, in some snese its better than xlaunchpad because its more stable.
one problem though... well... no a problem more like a suggestion. i would love it if i could move from page to page using the scroll button, also, is would be nice if winlaunch would close when i click on the taskbar or on a button on the taskbar, an one last thing would be if i could arrange the icons as i would like, so, it would be something like disabling the auto arrange.
i would love to see these in the next update please!

cant seem to get this to work on laptop. get "set connectionID threw an exception" when trying to open settings. any idea how to fix. have dumped settings xml and items but still not working.

Stop looking ! I re downloaded the app and this time it works. Strange as the first install was from my PC and that worked fine. Anyway all OK now thanks so much.Good work. Any way of reducing ram use? Not using many short cuts on laptop but big time on PC and not a lot of difference. It's not toooo bad but could be better.Suppose I should check on lion to see how much ram their launchpad uses.Might be the same, before I pass to much judgement eh!

I use it for over three months now and all I can say is just - PERFECT! I love the WinLaunch and I'd like to give you some good tips
- Search Bar (should search apps inside WinLaunch, or all apps from Start Menu)
- Time (like the OS X Mountain Lion)
Oh, and I made a Slovak translation for it! (however, only the used parts are translated.
By the way, can you make sometimes in the future a OSX-like Notes app? The new one from Mountain Lion.
