I really should try using Flash more as a drawing tool. I decided to use my little sorceress picture to experiment with Flash on.......trying out all the new filters and tools in Flash 8, and I got a little carried away. >D This was drawn, colored, and animated entirely in Flash. Yes, even the eyes. ^___^ Flash 8 can handle blurs (coloring the eyes and skin and sky) and glows (the text), which just makes me giddy to no end! Now that Adobe owns Macromedia, it almost feels like I'm working in a version of Photoshop that also does animation. Super cool. >D (And yeah, I know....the animation itself is extremely simple, but this was more an experiment in coloring and drawing in Flash than anything.)
So, yup. Sorceress girl person. Flashified. >D

Yes, it's an older version. It works fairly well, though; Flash 8 is the one right after that one.

awsome image. My only thing is (I'm sometimes too critical) that by her right foot if you put it on loop, there is a random "speck" or "Line" or something jumping up and down. Otherwise, very ownage of the skillz. Awsome image and love the eyes. Keep it up.

I really like this, and it's a very good use of flash. It kinda reminds me of those pictures in the harry potter films that move around, now that I think about it, that kind of stuff is relatively easy to do digitally, I'm surprised there isn't more 'living' art on dA. I'd love to see more of this kind of stuff, consider yourself watched.

Although how is this socery done... it all the movig parts on different layers and then put into s loop cycle of motion on top of this image which you drew in flash.. oigosh thats amazing...
cant one submit drawn art which has been scanned and do soething similair instead.... like drawing with a mouse and with flash is such an downgrade to something one can do by hand....

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned (don't really have the time to read through all the comments). I dunno if it's my computer or what, but on the right side where the cape is flapping, there's a little floating sliver of black that seems to have not been erased when cleaning up the image or something, so it floats along with the cape. But it's still a nice animation. XD

No, you can do the blur directly in Flash. You need Macromedia Flash 8 Professional, though--it's the only version so far that has the Photoshop-like filters.

The eyes are very cute and I like the pose. The outfit is really nice and her hair is also cute! Its a very fun little piece. The background has nice shapes in it :3 I like her hands and how the border looks. The boots are especially cute!
