Description
From a great stock photo, and a well deserved DD by PsImH3re photo by Pedro Fernandes and the model is Joana Silva.
Although subtle, lots of experiments on this one. Trying different blending and made up techniques to further my learning with colored pencil. Polychromos as usual. (You just can't beat em.)

I appreciate the gesture. The shock would probably do me in. Living in the dark at -30, I'm almost comatose already.

60 miles north of Edmonton, Alberta. 200 miles south of the oilsands at Ft. McMurry where it is -45 with wind chill today. I put up a photo on my page just for you, have a look.

I know all about mosquitoes haha. My Dad and I go to a cabin in upper Wisconsin in a town called Land O' Lakes. They used to have a bat problem but the mosquitoes took care of them ..no but seriously we moved our week on the lake to September and May because of them.

Gorgeous colored pencil drawing. I love the detail you drew into this picture....especially the layers of colors in the the stone and water reflections. Fantastic work of art. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for noticing That part by the hand was the last little section. Just when I started to get the hang of drawing that texture and experimenting I was finished.
BUT...next time I do "stonework" Ill have a better understanding of how to interpret it.

Haha isn't that how it always goes? Finally get the hang of it and you're done. More knowledge to tuck away for the future I suppose.
