"Has it been 2 hours? 3?" Onyx thinks to herself. How long has she been fighting this Monster? Never has she been pushed to such limits, been hit so hard and never had she had to fight such a relentless opponent.
All Onyx could think about as she would fade in and out of consciousness, No one has been able to determine the Monsters motives, or his origin. All that can be agreed upon since his arrival is the he seems to revel in the chaos he has created.
To this point, all who have faced him, From The Mighty Paragon from Chicago, who defended the planet from an alien armanda single handled mere months ago...has seen his skull crushed in the monsters powerful fists. The Amazing Atomic Twins, Eric and Steven Reynolds, made the ultimate sacrifice when they attempted to halt the rampage by locking hands and performing their powerful Meltdown Blast, as the twins expended every ounce of power and life-force they could muster it was vain, as The Monster not only withstood the blast, he emerged from the smoke...laughing.

Even heroes who would seek to stand in the path of destruction sans abilities would far no better as the one time scourge of the underworld The Ebony Claw was quickly outmatched, and not even the young speedster Turbo was fast enough to out run death, his broken body has yet to return from low orbit yet.

But when she arrived, she truly could not imagine the size and how imposing this Monster truly was, and how it soon became clear that not even Onyx would be able to halt this Emissary of Death. Surely not for her abilities, she too would have become just another victim.

But she isn't a victim, she never was, she is 'Unbreakable'
and with that thought, Onyx fights out of the Monsters grip, willed her self to her feet, to channel all her heart and soul into one final blow....SHE STRIKES!!

The impact of the blow shatters windows of nearby buildings and car alarms go off for 3 miles around. Onyx thinks it's over, she thinks nothing will be able to withstand that attack.Right?

But instead of victory, all that remained was equally incredible and haunting, as it also fully illustrated the true magnitude of the threat that stood before her and not even she could imagine what would happen next....
