How can I save my little boy from Oppenheimers deadly toy
There is no monopoly in common sense
On either side of the political fence
We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the russians love their children too

Another design about politics. The topic should be clear, it's all about nuclear war. Don't mind me to be crazy for politics with all those vintage book parts pieces, but I love the style. And I hope you'll like this piece as much as me. It actually took me a lot of time to finish it, but my friend ~mistikraptor helped me a lot with it. Thanks, bro!

Fantastic - I've absolutely loved this series from the start. I second what someone else said about offering them for print, and I've said on one of your other pieces that I for one would be willing to buy

Where is the poem from? It's lovely.

This is very very good. I love it, really It has some meaning and it looks beautiful as well, and thatΒ΄s what I find really important about this kind of art. Not many people do like this, I think

Thought I commented on this already...Well, the design's just perfect. And I like a lot that you choose serious topics, that's something I'm somehow not able too. But sometimes I'm missing these personal pieces from the beginning...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

mrgraphicsguy In reply to your-urge [2007-12-17 02:05:46 +0000 UTC]

Personal pieces are hard to create if there's nothing to resolve in one's soul. I am a lucky guy and don't need that emotional valve now. And you are responsible for it, so don't blame it on me

Oh...okay Yep, it's hard if everything's fine. I just wanted to add them, I personally love emotional pieces and I always loved yours and will love them

Thank you very much. I try my very best with that grunge art... but I'm not really sure if it wouldn't be better to create something more... technical. Something which is real art, you know? Like drawing with a pencil.

How ironic that dreams of peace should involve such destruction. I love the piece. The writing over the bottom is great, as well as the missiles on the top. Great color scheme. Your grammar is a little incorrect. Depending on what direction you want to go with the piece - "They came up with a dream of peace and won." would make it singular, or "They came with their dreams of peace and won." would make it plural and posessive.

Oh yeah, you are right... that was a stupid mistake! But you don't see such things after working 10 hours on it... I will change that. And thank you very much for the comment

wordzz In reply to mrgraphicsguy [2007-12-04 01:20:18 +0000 UTC]

you're right. ten hours of staring at the same piece and it is amazing what I miss. Have you thought about putting these pieces together for printing?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

mrgraphicsguy In reply to wordzz [2007-12-04 01:51:36 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm, that's a nice idea... which way would you think might be the best to get them printed? 3 pieces just as single prints or maybe a collage?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

wordzz In reply to mrgraphicsguy [2007-12-04 23:23:35 +0000 UTC]

they would be really cool printed on some glossy cardstock, hole punched with wire binding. They would work really well in booklet format because of their already double page-like format. The gloss of the paper and the roughness of the images would also create an interesting dynamic. Working at Kinko's I had quite a bit of late night fun printing on things our printers probably shouldn't have, ie. you could even print them on chit board for a really cool "natural" feel...though the colors would lose a bit of their vibrancy.

hey Michael could you take a look at [this] for me? I could use your feedback. It doesn't feel done, but I'm not quite sure where to go with it. I was even thinking about sending you the .psd to see what you could come up with...it's a rather large file though. Thnx man! I'm excited to hear your take on it
