but a slight point of bother is the historical fact behind it.. cause the sun you're using over there is actually the Japanese war flag and not a recognised symbol of either South or North Korea xD

very nice piece. I'm especially fond of the flow in your composition, as well as your minimal color choice and the tight theme. After reading your explanation on the piece I find myself somewhat baffled, since the sun seems to be a clear indication of japan, but I can understand the continuum - jumping from one war to the next.
all in all, great piece though.

I thought the sun was something like an indication of the east at all... so just a symbol for asia and war in asia (it's based on the japanese war flags which they used during World War II). However, thank you very much for the comment and for the nice words

the flag is immediately recognizable as the empire of the sun more than anything else (it's a classic japanese trademark, after all) and subsequently hints at world war II because of the tanks and vintage treatment. It is an understandable mistake but ultimately not very important because any inconsistencies in your concept are balanced by the excellent execution. So, that's that.
