I really love this concept but at first I actually thought this was a compact SMG with a horizontal clip like you would see on pp-19 Bizon.
I also always imagine railguns as having some area way to access an external power source you don't have to deplete whatever battery cells you carry.

I look at this and the thought comes to mind first is the phrase:

too small for a good railgun... i would say... 50% longer... and a much bigger energy source...

As soon as you can generate a strong enough magnetic field to launch the projectile, there's no problem with the length (the projectile should be smaller than the magnets, though); the big problem occurs with the power supply - you'd have to "carry" an incredibly large generator just to power this beast, so the apparatus looses it's portability. Another problem occurs on how to isolate the strong magnetic field generated by the railgun, so dust or small metal doesn't constancy sick to that thing.
Still, this is a work of imagination, so tying physics to it is a bit dull. Nevertheless, it's fairly authentic and nice looking, yet I'd love to see some auto-aim of some sort attached to it... because future and stuff. Lacks a bit of originality/unique touch.

At first, I was referring to other decals you have done before, bigger ones. But now that you mention it, I DO see it above the trigger.
