Its pretty lightly armed for a defensive unit. The ones I come up with in one of my favorite mech games are always treaded, and usually carry a massive armament of multiple cannons, missile launchers etc. They might be less agile than bipeds, but they have heavier armor and deadlier weapons. Your design reminds me of a biped sniper.
