How did you create the explosion? It was very nicely captured I must add

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mrichston In reply to Skyrail [2007-08-27 12:01:41 +0000 UTC]

It is not actually explosion. It just looks like it. It is upsidedown photo of candle inside ice.

how the hell is that possible? lol do tell

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mrichston In reply to LadyDeath666 [2007-01-22 13:58:18 +0000 UTC]

How would I explain it... It might be hard to put fire inside ice, but putting candle is easy, because fire doesn't touch ice. Wind doesn't blow out candle, because ice covers it.

LadyDeath666 In reply to Mrichston [2007-01-22 14:00:22 +0000 UTC]

well but i mean did you just get like a hollow block of ice and stick a candle in it or what? lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mrichston In reply to LadyDeath666 [2007-01-22 14:20:13 +0000 UTC]

Basically like that. My dog drinks water from plastic container. In winter water freezes, because temperature goes below zero. Then I take the ice out from plastic container and put candle inside ice to make sort of lantern.

There is actually no real explosion. It is candle inside ice.

Dyanamic. I can't really make anything out but the lack of context draws me in. Good stuff.

Mrichston In reply to ChadRocco [2007-01-20 20:19:32 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. It is a candle inside ice cylinder. Ice cylinder had lines which formed it look like explosion.
