Well, might aswell post this...

This is an old one, a mock-up I made long ago and posted on the SoaH forums on the 17th of Febuary this year. Since it has generated a bit of a fuzz there, I might aswell post it here, to show it to the general public and make it available for long time view, that said, lets begin...

This is, as you can see, another Sonic the Hedgehog mock-up, this time of a conceptual boss, based upon the "Super Power Robot Yokozuna" from the 1994 game "Contra - Hard Corps" for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Its name (and the title of this image) are a reference to its boss music (shared with a different boss) called "GTR Attack", referencing the Getter Robo Anime (no, I haven't seen it).

As for the image itself, it is quite a lot custom made. The train is, the machine is aswell, though the upper part is the Sonic 1 Eggmobile (as ripped by Flare). Sonic's sprite comes from Sonic 1/CD aswell, but ripped by Victor T this time. The background is mostly made out of Palmtree Panic Past, Collision Chaos Past and Quartz Quadrant Past (all ripped by Divine), with the rail being semi-custom, based upon the Rail from Contra Hard Corps' original stage ("ripped" by me using a screenshot).

As for why I did this image, to sum it all up, I don't know. It isn't directly a preview for something I'm making, nor does it have to do anything with either S4ME or S&T (as evident by the lack of scanlines). I thought that that'd be a cool idea and it turned out to be so, most important is that it looks good, eh?
