...Animated Mock-Ups

It was way overdue to reveal yet another stage from my fan game Sonic Time Corruption. I welcome you to Shivering Summit Zone, a mountaintop castle ruin which has been restored into a mighty fortress by Dr. Robotnik. Zone 5 of the game, it's a trifecta of nature, old ruins and clean concrete. From the catacombs deep inside the ruin to the dense forests above, this stage takes Sonic and co.
This mock-up is a bit different than most. Instead of screenshot-like, I went for a smaller quadriptych made of animated pieces. The candles flicker inside, the banner waves in the wind and the snow falls outside, all made by hand. Quite a tedious task, but I think it payed off. As ever, my good friend WizToad is to blame for much of this, but I also drew many things myself. TechBlade9000 also deserves a very special thanks in helping me a lot with the palettes to this stage, especially the background.
