Yes, one must keep this vicious carnivore chained and restrained, because you never know what they might do! Of course certain raptors actually might like to be restricted and bound.Here is my little tribute and gift art for a very nice (flesh ripping carnivore) none other than restrainedraptor [link] himself.
My gratitude, dear raptor for all your help and kindness!
Also this piece marks an evolution as to how I shade and create digital art from now on. I've had an epiphany of sorts and that's a good thing! Please feel free to pet the raptor, but be careful! He could bite. ;D

Heh, thanks. Actually the drawing is, of course, pencil and then inked by hand (I used Koh-I-Noor pens for that) Then I digitally colored it using Pixarra's Twisted Brush [link]

Muzzling them is completely safe, the nostrils are part of the bone structure. Tie thier jaws shut as tight as you want

Actually I have a version of this piece with muzzle in place, but I didn't want to put it online and cover up that charming raptor smile of his.

I always thought that the muzzle made it so they couldn't breathe, but they can, no matter what, because the nostrils are part of the skull. They can.

Well do what I do, get a natural raptor reference and then start working. There are some great dino pictures online, they serve as very good examples of structure. Go for it!

He looks a little shy in his situation, but I'm sure he likes the restraints that keep him casually tethered to the spot. I think he's met his match with those massive chains, but that won't stop him shaking them and struggling playfully to put on a display for others!
Yes, he's very happy to be petted and admired... but if he starts getting snappy, you know what to do with him.

Without you (and our dialog) there would be no new restrained raptor picture and that would be a sad thing indeed. The world needs more cuffed carnivores, I always say.
