Oh my. It has come to this! The rubberbirds have yet another victim...ahem, "convert" that they are processing and being rather rough with him too. It looks like there's some pain ahead for our "volunteer" just joining the ranks of his new brothers in bondage and complete mind-controlled allegiance to Yygonaugh the Master Overbird. I doubt he'll remember it though once his will is drained by The Spider and his thoughts are replaced by the commands of the Garakai Empire.Actually this is commission requested by the author of some really great Rubberbird Empire stories. Those stories have really embellished and fleshed out just what the rubberbirds are and what they do. I'm most grateful to him for both the commission and concepts.
So much pleased am I that I have actually put the author "in" his own story. Yes, that's him, the one with the tail (well not for long). He's already being scanned and suited into a nano-rubber control environment suit...the very last suit he will ever need because he's not going ANYWHERE now. >:}

Indeed. It has been a long time now since the change and the "author" is just another Rubberbird servant. He is happy with his life...because really, he has little choice.

I've always wondered if the conversion was painless, and if not, what kind of harsh treatment do they go trough? Now I know they don't remember a thing after since they get brainwashed, but you know, let's just pretend it wasn't the case...

Minos, this is all kinds of awesome. Love the torture and the creepy procedure involved in transforming one into a Rubberbird. Still, their operation rooms seems a little too bright. Just in contrast to the darker thoughts that come to mind when I think of the RB's.

Whew what an awesome comment! My gratitude Z-ness. Yes they are a bit creepy, but people really seem to love that fact. Actually it's one picture of mine on DA that's actually gotten some views. I'm still in shock over that since not much of my art gets to see the light of day around here. I've got friends, mostly on FA, that want to be "converted" now. The rubberbirds shall rule all!

They have placed him in a nano-rubber containment/environment suit and are reprogramming his mind to serve the needs of the Garakai Empire and Lord Yygonaugh (The OverBird)...and they are modifying his body to better match the new life-suit, which he'll be in for the rest of his life. Good, clean fun. >:}
