I just started reading the fic two days ago and I'm in love. 25 chapters in and I've already cried like a baby three or four times.

This I think is my favorite piece from you. Nick's unwillingness to die is so stark in this picture.

This was always one of my favorite parts of the story, even though I cry every time. What an incredible picture; it's the little details that blow me away. The cracks in the ice where Nick landed after getting bitchslapped, his reflection on the ice, the little splotches and trickles of blood, and how you managed to capture the blind determination he's got to get ahold of that rifle.
Amazing. I'm going to stare at this for a little while longer, now.
