I recently finished the maze runner series and i loved it so much i had to fanart a little. Sooooo since the movie is coming out next year i thought i'd do some character sheets which should resemble the actors chosen for the roles (hopefully) [if they don't idk what to tell you, i tried, i really tried lol]Fourth character sheet is for Teresa which isn't one of my favourites but it's really nice to draw mainly because Kaya is gorgeous [I got really really sad drawing dead teresa btw so i do like her more than i thought]
I'm pretty sure I'll do Gally next so stay tuuuuned

i never realized how much i liked teresa until she died, honestly.
better her than tommy, i guess.

Yeah I didn't really like her that much either until I finished all the books and had time to think about it. I think with all that happened during TST it's kinda hard to have a positive opinion but once you realize she really only did all that shit because she loved thomas and was willing to let him hate her as long as it kept him safe how can u really blame her? (we don't talk about newt, newt is alive and well... somewhere;_

knowing that she actually was doing everything for the good
it made it really hard to believe she was dead.
i like to believe that newt is alive and healthy.
but poor minho, like what if one day he feels the need to visit
crank newt and tommy wont tell him what he did.

Yeahhhh I don't really know if Thomas ever actually told Minho what he had to do, I'd like to think that at some point the guilt was too much and he let it out but idk it was such a traumatic experience on top of everything that had already happened that he probably just.. buried it somewhere deep and tried to forget. Sadly we'll never know so, every headcanon is as valid as the other x) haha was he? god it's been so long since I reread the books I actually don't remember lol

i finished the death cure 2 weeks ago but it seemed like
minho was keeping himself busy so he wouldn't think about newt.
im not even sure if they could go back where the cranks.
before thomas killed janson, it said that he had the same crazy look
in his eyes as newt before he got killed so he may be a crank, it seems
like it.

oH RIGHT! I mean, he probably was??? I doubt he got out much since WCKD was creatd so that's probably how he didn't contract the virus until later in the book. But yeah I don't think they'd be able to go back, the whole point of them reaching the safe place is that they're going to leave the rest of the world behind to rot and kinda, destroy itself

how thomas described it, it seemed like he was past the gone.
but it makes since that he got it because before he said that cranks
sometimes break in, but that may have been to scare them.

Ack, i was actually happy when she died. She kinda an a**whole. and a b*tch. Well, i rlly started hating her when she betrayed thomas. Just wondering, can u do brenda?? She's my fave character bsides newt. who, of coirse james EVERYONE-ONE-YOU-LOVE-DIES dashner just HAD kill. can't wait to see gallys!

I am planning on making more eventually, just gotta find some time between uni and life to actually do it x) [I'm not here to defend teresa or anything but she did only act like an asshole to save thomas' life, might not have been nice but, she thought they were going to kill him so I'd say that's enough to cut her some slack haha]

To each their own, everyone is free to dislike characters but I don't think she was a bitch? Ultimately she did what she thought was right in order to protect thomas, she wasn't the first, or last person to lie in the series. Obviously because we read the story from thomas point of view and see how her behavior affects him we're more inclined to dislike her but idk she did die to save his life so that doesn't really strike me as a bad person.

I think some people mistake this series for some romance novel to be honest, I didn't like her much the first time I read the books (mainly cause I didn't trust her in the scorch trials) but I found myself appreciating her more and more as time went by, she's a wonderful complex character who had to make some pretty tough choices and ultimately died saving the person she loved the most idk what more anyone could want
