I recently finished the maze runner series and i loved it so much i had to fanart a little. Sooooo since the movie is coming out next year i thought i'd do some character sheets which should resemble the actors chosen for the roles (hopefully) [if they don't idk what to tell you, i tried, i really tried lol]Anyway let's start with my favourite which is Newt ಥ⌣ಥ it's a bit spoilery so if you've only read the maze runner COVER YOUR EYES
[this was probably one of the most painful things i ever had to draw *sigh*]

David: So naive, after all that happened...did you really think I would let you in on the Bureau without taking the necessary precuations? You honestly think I didn't see this coming?
*David pushes a button on his desk, and a minature bomb goes off inside Tris' heart, killing Tris*
Four: TRIS!
David: Quite unfortunate...but the truth is, Tobias, you are not the first who tried to challenge our methods-
Thomas: No...he's not...
*before David can do anything else, Thomas shoots David in the head, and David falls over, dead*
*Four turns around,*
Thomas: Four? Tobian "Four" Eaton?
Four: Yes, so you must be...
Thomas: Thomas. These are Newt, Frypan, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mallark and Gale Hawtorne.
Katniss Everdeen: Welcome to the Gladers.
Newt: The gas has dissipated, but the final battle has just begun, so you better come with us before they find us.

I'm so hurt by looking at him- but he's such a precious bb, I'm reading all the books (despite me already knowing how the perfect bb dies)

I love this - your style's fantastic - but at the same time it hurts soooo bad. I didn't know I could ever be so affected by the death of a fictional character (and I even found out how he died before I started the series!).

Well, I don't think people forget all he did/said in the previous two books, it's just that everything that happened in the death cure is reeeaaaally hard to ignore and when your favourite character dies it's kinda hard to just go back and be like 'ha ha look he's so happy' cause u know what's gonna happen next

I forgot it was finals week and stayed up until 3 reading the Death Cure crying like a little baby and had to wake up at 5 for finals T-T

Yeah I think he said something about not really wanting to write about what happens next, but there's a chance he might write something in the past like the characters' backstories so I'm all for that too
