Robert,
I always hit the water (usually it's a river or a well). My psychology teacher told me, that it means that my mind is still searching for the right answers or something and when it will find them, the "hitting the watter" part should stop.
This drawing was drawn in 2006, and by that time i had no idea about anatomy or line-drawing, so this work doesn't represent the true emotions which I feal. I don't feal scared, I just feel confused and very very very weak.
