From this to this!!!!Alfred is a little musk lorikeet... He/She...it is gorgous!
He has a friend who is a rainbow lorikeet, buddy, and buddy is slightly bigger, but they're good play mates.
They both fell out of tree's... though they both wandered alot at early age so perhaps they were explorers...
either way... They imprint on humans very easily... and now they are so obviously not releasable... specially when they roll over for a scratch.
But they're lots of fun and hopefully will have a good life anyway.

Alfred is adorable. Gosh, look how tiny he was. I just love lorikeets, they are so friendly (most of them lol) and beautiful. Great photos by the way

Thats what i thought, he is a lucky little bird, and when we first got him we had no idea what he was! Amazing how something so tiny can be raised by something so big like me. And i type this with him sitting on my shoulder chewing at my ear, hehehe
