Description In an other world at a different time we could have been friends.

This is page two of a comic commission I made for Specter06

What happened to Preed's plushie in the last three panels? Did he drop it in the flowers?

Yes right, he just dropped it after Stith slapped him and after that he didnΒ΄t have a chance to pick it up again.

I can kinda see Preed secretly keeping it until his adulthood and STILL carrying it around with him like I do with a certain plushie. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow because I probably got phemonia or something and wonder if it's a good idea to take it or not because I don't want it getting other people's germs on it and my doctor already thinks I'm a headcase.Β

I have no idea what phemonia is, but I doubt Preed would carry a plushy around. Maybe he would have a kind of gemstone in one of the pockets of his pants, but thatΒ΄s it. He could have a plushy in his room on the ship actually.

A lung infection. Maybe its a small plushie...

Oh ok, hope it gets better soon. Where did it come from?
I had something like that too once which came from having contact to school kids and being not so warm wrapped into clothes in the winter.
Yeah one of those very tiny plushies you can put into your pant bags XD

I don't know. I've had a bad cough forever. Stress has been eating me away. It's about finishing high school or getting my GED but my mom is saying In need to learn coping skills. If I had my GED or whatever I wouldn't feel this way in the first place. My mom never was the best person to talk too about my anxieties and ever since I moved out, she's like, "Solve your own problems!" (problems she is somewhat responsible for causing) My mom and I never got along.Β

But when she is now not there to tell you anything you should feel better.
I guess you got sick from somewhere or someone, because that does not happen only because you are stressed.
At least you have the chance now to get a GED now because your mom does not care anymore and canΒ΄t keep you from doing what you think is right.

Still, I keep running into roadblocks. What I need is an individualized tutor to teach me the things my mother couldn't like physics and chemistry. The only place I know of that gives GED classes does them at night and the other is in the same town where I got bullied so badly in school. Β Anyhow, I need individualized classes where someone can teach me how to do physics and not have to worry about slowing everyone else down.

But I think today those people who once bullied you are not also adults, maybe are moved and have their own life, families and jobs, I doubt they still could bully you, so why not considering getting the GED from the city where you have an option.

I doubt the same bullies would be there. It's just the memories that would come about. I can't even go into stores in that down without getting flashbacks. Besides, it could be some school on another planet, full of the nicest, friendliest "people", I still wouldn't be able to learn anything because I'd just "drift off" and not be able to retain anything unless it was just me. Or if the people there knew that dyscalculia is a real condition. (unlike my brother who thinks i'm being lazy)

MrWolf86 In reply to RensMeerkat [2014-08-18 16:08:05 +0000 UTC]

Well, also people with dyscalculia can learn something if they really want to.
You have a goal but when you leave yourself hanging like that it is not a surprise everyone calls you lazy or not being able to become a vet.

The same brother who said that did go to school for engineering, but never finished...claiming it got too expensive. But then he's always been a "party boy" and probably let his finances slip. He also slept with a woman and got her pregnant and wanted to be a good father. I actually plan to finish school, and any boyΒ I run into who doesn't understand the concept of abstinence will be wasting his time trying to hit on me. I will always have the upper-hand when I remind him that I was the one that finished school.Β

I hope you manage finishing school. Not because of the boys, I remember you said you are a-sexual. I can imagine how annoying it must be to have 'groupies' or something trying to get into your pants.

I don't plan to live in a dorm room during college. I'm planing on staying in my apartment depending on what school I go to. Hopefully by vet school, the boys will be a little bit more mature and anything resembling flirting will be innocent and friendly.Β

Flirting doesnΒ΄t have to be always for sex, actually it is the first way to get attention of someone, and also can be for reason of friendship.
But who says you would have to move to a school apartment?

RensMeerkat In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-08-20 13:39:46 +0000 UTC]

School apartment I think is the same thing as a dorm. You only get one room and have to share it with someone else. Β

That sucks, it is like in the psychiatry I was when I was 12. Luckily I got along with the person who was sharing the room with me.
Later when I was older and at the children's house I had my own room. I think it is not normal when you live in the same house with others for some years, and you have to share your room with others. But seems like for American schools or so it is normal

RensMeerkat In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-08-20 14:00:07 +0000 UTC]

I never got along with anyone if I had to share a room with them. Β

I do, but only when people are nice to me and accept my things and donΒ΄t touch them.

RensMeerkat In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-08-20 14:36:42 +0000 UTC]

I did have to share a room with at least five other women at the homeless shelter. But then it wasn't like I owned anything there and I kept having panic attacks because I couldn't get my solitude. No one has really seemed to understand that I need my solitude just as much as other people need air. If I was "normal" and didn't have such a need for solitude, I probably would have disowned my family and filed restraining orders against them.Β

Yes you need some rest. I truly can understand that. It makes sense when you do so many other things you donΒ΄t even have the time for doing something for your own to gain power for new stuff again.

Not that hard to imagine Stith as a being a bit bitchy from the moment she was born.
She doesn't take crap from anyone.
That slap was definitely an outburst. A first response to a reaction from little Preed that might as well just have been bewilderment.
Who has such legs anyway? XD

But nobody likes tears and the last picture is really adorable.
No text needed. It almost screams: "I'm sorry for hitting you like that. We may look different but let's be friends."
It's so sweet. ^^Β

Thank you, yeah true. First I was like to put a line for Stith into the last image, but then didnΒ΄t do it because it would destroy the feeling.
