Description So finally XD
I named her Lena. Maybe I listened to this song too much:www.myvideo.de/watch/4131620/P…
A nice song which kind of made me having a crush with 12 on a girl named Lena as well
Luckily she didn´t notice that. She was already 14 at that time and I think she was at the clinic because she had some disorder or something. She was very calm and nearly talked to anyone. But because I listened to that song at that time, I couldn´t do any different then falling on love with her XD

This Lena is different.
She is the cousin of Smart Guy and a very pretty and tough girl. She has a big mouth and says what she thinks.
Wheezy knows her since a long time and both are considered a couple. When Smart Guy heard that she had a boyfriend, he convinced Wheezy to join the Toon Patrol and there it started.
Lena met Greasy and first was not really sure how to think about him, but his tough and very straight and direct way to treat women kind of was that thing she missed with Wheezy who is more calm and swears in being celibate till they have married and she tried her best, but failed. What could happen when being in someone else' arms for just one night?...

Toon Patrol belongs to Disney (C)
Lena belongs to me (C)

Hehe well this is NOT my fursona, but one of my OCs.
I don´t really have an animal-self because I have so damn many characters who are part of me.
The female few weasels I did for the Toon Patrol are just there to make the story more interesting.
Most of my fursona animals are canids and all of them are male.

I LOVE how instead of giving her human like breasts, you just gave her extra fluff.  Thanks for introducing me to that group too! I can't get that song out of my head now.

LOL no problem, their songs are really catching.
Yes she is one of the few weasels who have fluff instead of boobs XD

Most females should have fluff instead of boobs unless they have had a child.

LOL yes, there are more, she is not the only one.
Besides her I made Goldini, who's name now is Elisabeth and Smart Ass' current girldfriend and Rosa, a call girl to say it nice. Rosa looks similar like Greasy with dark fur and black hair.

Oh mai~  I like how you smoothly called her "call girl".  Nice. XD  I'll have to check out these characters.  I see you like making a lot of female characters.

One of these days I'm going to have to make a weasel OC of my own, just so I can keep up with the Toon Patrol fanbase.  XD

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-01 15:33:11 +0000 UTC]

Well, I didn´t want to call her slut or wore which would be mean, she is not that bad.
But she offers services for money XD
I didn´t draw her yet. I also need to draw a character sheet of Elisabeth.
The toon patrol are only male and five males, actually 7 males when you count the two weasels which didn´t make it into the movie, is pretty much. That´s why I had the idea to make some females.
And in my other stories with Sal and Preed, well it´s just funny to have them around girls. Sal is a player and he loves the presence of some pretty girls, just like Preed who enjoys to annoy them or to get their attention on different ways. It is just so much fun to play with conversations and when you have some proud arrogant ass characters, it is even more fun to give them some tough ladies to deal with.

Oh, dude.  Don't get me wrong.  I knew the Toon Patrol only consisted of males.  I had to study the technical methods of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" for a final project in University.  So I know all the nitty gritty details like how the weasels were actually based off The Seven Dwarfs from snow white.  I've even roleplayed as the weasels on several occasions.  XD

You should draw the Elisabeth character sheet.  It'd be interesting to get to know her.

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-01 15:50:33 +0000 UTC]

Oh didn´t know that. I also used to draw the Toon Patrol characters in arts, tried to bound them into the projects as good as i could but usually teachers were not too happy about that XD

I so want to get a graphic tablet, because drawing with the small pad thing on my laptop is no fun. I take pretty long to just get some acceptable lines. I think when I sell something of my stuff hopefully these next days, then I will buy one. It is really necessary to get one.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 15:54:21 +0000 UTC]

Sorry to hear that.  Too bad the teachers weren't fond of the idea.  It's kind of counterproductive of them, considering that they should be encouraging their students to get passionate about things.

You should try investing in a cintiq tablet.  They're the best.  With them, you can draw directly on the screen.  It's worth the money, trust me.

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-01 15:59:25 +0000 UTC]

Never heard about that. But I don´t have a touch laptop. Mine is a common normal windows laptop from 2006 or something.
I don´t know how those you mean work. Need to look that up on the internet and see if I can get one. Depending on the costs. I can´t spend 200€ + for one. I am looking to get one where I just can make clear fluent lines. The rest I still can do in photoshop without trouble.

This here is the 22 UX Cintiq tablet:  static.trustedreviews.com/94/4…

It's probably way above the price range you mentioned, so you could try investing in an older model that's not half as expensive.  The 21 UX Cintiq is the older model and - having used it in the past - is very reliable. C:

Interesting thing though.
I never have seen such a tablet here. Maybe they are not that common. We are actually just at that time of age here that some companies make cheaper ones now too for 30 - 40€.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 16:39:55 +0000 UTC]

A lot of professional animators end up using the tablet that I mentioned.  That's why it's not common for people (in any part of the world) to have them.  But if you know about them, then you have a higher advantage. XD

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-01 16:43:50 +0000 UTC]

because it is like drawing on paper I guess. You see the thing you draw right below the pen and not with the common tablets moved or dunno how to explain, you draw on the tablet and see the lines somewhere else, on the screen. Some people confuses this how I have read. But it´s the same as I work.
My laptop has a very small tablet navigation integrated below my keyboard and I use my fingers to draw in photoshop, But I think if I could use a pen on it, it would work way better. Unfortunately this field on my laptop doesn´t work when I try to use a pen on it. I tried it, but it only seems to recognize a contact when I use my finger.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 16:54:43 +0000 UTC]

So you mean a tablet like this where the pen movements don't get projected straight onto the tablet? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…

Yes exactly one of these. That´s the only thing I can afford since I don´t have a job and only get a little money from the soft mounts I sell.
I need to pay bills every month which are not tiny and most money I earn goes into my sick insurance.

Luckily for you, these kinds of tablets are getting cheaper and cheaper. My friend has something similar.  Maybe I should ask my friend which model he has.

The most common ones are those from vacom. They seem to be pretty good, they have some starter models but also real professional models too.
I think I just need to try it out if it is something I can work with. If it is similar to the way I use to work right now, just with a pen instead of my fingers, I should be able to work with it quite well. I talked with someone else about this one time and they were impressed that I could draw such good images on the way I actually do because it would be so complicated.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 18:06:13 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Wacom has a pretty good reputation.  I agree.

I'm impressed with what you can do with the equipment you currently have.  It'd be really good for you to get your hands on a fine quality tablet.

I hope that too and thank you!
I can´t wait to get one now LOL
I have the mood to draw something, like animations and stuff and just test if it is easier to do them. Most of the times I lose the patience to do some really good art because with that small thing it is so much work and is slow work too. When I could at least use a pen on my laptop. That would save me a lot of time and I could do an image within maybe half an hour instead of two hours.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 18:30:22 +0000 UTC]

I know animators who have no trouble working with the kind of tablet you have.  They've grown quite accustomed to it, so chances are you would too.  I do admit, however, that it would probably be easier to use a Cintiq in the case of digital animations, but for your price range you should probably just stick with a wacom.  If they can get away with using wacoms for animation then so can you.

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-01 18:45:30 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, since I use the layer technique in photoshop to do animations, a normal graphic tablet would be just the best option.
I am a photoshopper, have learned it at a digital art technique school and have it on my PC. The work with the layers is quite simple, but when you are not so sovereign with drawing lines, it takes quite long. With a pen and fluent lines I would be way faster.
I am used to draw with hands and pen on paper usually, but the finger on that field on my laptop is different because the contact was not created for drawing. It only was created to move the mouse curser around to navigate on programs and sites. I guess people who actually want to do graphical arts usually would use a seperated mouse which I can´t use here (don´t sit at a table), and a tablet I don´t have yet.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-01 21:32:15 +0000 UTC]

Oh sweet! I use the layer technique too. I don't know how digital artists can do without it. XD

I've seen people use their mouses to draw beautiful portraits online. I guess its similar to what you do. In some ways the drawing tablet you're considering investing in wouldn't be so different to using a mouse.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-02 09:38:41 +0000 UTC]

I used to draw with the mouse on my old computer, but I would say, it is a mix of both, traditional hand drawing with a pen, and digital drawing while you draw somewhere and need to look at the PC to see what you are actually drawing, because there where you set the pen on, or the mouse, you don´t see the lines. This is what some people think is confusing, and I think when they are not used to it, one of those other things you put on your screen are better, but I don´t need them. I never learned it different to draw on PC.
The good thing about a graphic tablet (I saw some reviews on youtube yesterday) that when you use a graphic tablet with a pen, the lines are sometimes thinner and sometimes thicker, depending on how you use pressure on the pen. That´s a thing I can´t do on my PC actually because I don´t have a pen and my small tablet for navigation which is integrated in my laptop is not that sensitive.
It just was made for using the mouse curser and not for drawing XD
I can´t wait to get a tablet. I really was encouraged while seeing different reviews.
Oh I have no idea how the professional animators work. I just wanted to see how people make animated gif images in photoshop and saw something on a forum and saved some gifs and saw how they were made. It was obvious that it works with layers, so each layer is a frame of the scene. The tricky thing was just how to save them but that was easy to find out on the internet.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-02 13:43:47 +0000 UTC]

Yeah.  You'd notice a big difference with the line work using a tablet in comparison to a mouse. It also sometimes depends on the art program you use.  I was using Painter 11 before, and it's a terrible program for registering pen pressure.  It didn't read it well at all.  Which is why I now use TVPaint (which is actually an animation program.)  Stick with Photoshop for drawing.  It's honestly the best program for digital art.

Apparently you can animate on Photoshop too, (which I can see you probably did in the past.)  It's a decent program, though I personally think TVPaint is better equipped for hardcore animating. C:  These programs actually work on cells.  And you can build layers within each cell, if that's what you mean.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MrWolf86 In reply to AymsterSilver [2014-02-02 15:19:13 +0000 UTC]

Yes that´s what I meant. I can do that with photoshop too, this is how I make animations in photoshop. You open a new file and put different layers into it and draw over them. Because you can see what you have drawn below, you easily can draw the next move on the upper layer and so on. It works fine this way, plus you can really make high resolution images in photoshop which have print quality for wallpapers and stuff.
I never used the other programs you mentioned, nor did I hear of them before. I only have MSpaint which is a standard on any windows PC.
But it´s crappy, you can´t do good art with it though.

AymsterSilver In reply to MrWolf86 [2014-02-02 18:11:25 +0000 UTC]

It's ok that you haven't heard of them. TVPaint is a very specific program, so it's no surprise.
