Description
Now about this character a ref sheet about emotions and face expression too.I love to make those, they are so cool and fun to experiment and make your character live.
This guy here is my second oldest OC I ever made. I made him along with my oldest OC Wiesli (they guy in my icon).
First Wusli was just Wiesli's best friend, but then I decided to make both brothers and this I kept this way till today.
Wusli is still drawn in my personal style, different than Wiesli who more looks like one of the BBA wolves or a disney wolf, dunno and Alpha Wiesli drawn in Don Bluth style.
Wusli is just too original to use a common style there. He is a chubby no good character but he is also a very loveable and cute guy who just wants to be loved. I really like him.
Wusli, character concept, lineart and color idea along with markings belong to me only! (C)

I never thought about it until now, but no one has ever mentioned wanting KM for a pet. I don't know weather that's a good thing or a bad thing. KM will bite you if she thinks you're not paying attention to her, and you can't just beat her into submission and she doesn't understand the concept of hierarchy so you best accept the fact she's on the same level as you or she have to remind you.

If she doesn´t know how hierarchy works, how can she live with other animals or even humans then?
I would say, if she is like how you described her now, she is a leader person, or someone who doesn´t accept someone in an upper position compared to her. An animal that can´t interact in an hierarchy is a loner and would chase away any other individual not accepting them in their territory.

Perhaps she just thinks she doesn't understand hierarchy or only assumes that word to be an to be an excuse for humans to mistreat animals. Technically she would be the "leader" of her "kitty cat comrades" (usually Rubicon the jaguar and Solomon the liger.)
Rubicon used to be a more down to earth version of Zazu from the Lion King and have a classy "posh" British accent and sound like John Cleese from Monty Python but eventually I kinda toned him down to sound more like Peter Gabriel or an everyday British person but every now and then "I say" will slip out of him, but for the most part, the only British thing about him is the way he pronounces "vowel" sounds. with the exception of "Kalahari", which most British people pronounce as "Call-ahari". KM probably snapped at him a few times about the "proper way" to pronounce her name. Instead of calling her, "Kally", Rubicon probably called her "Collie".) And I forget what the original topic was about.

LOL I also don´t really remember. I know we talked about pets, yes you said you want to have a Wusli as a pet.
I could see how KM gets mad when someone says her name the wrong tone. Sal is the same way XD

That's probably why everyone else simply refers to her as "KM". I do it out of laziness, it started in an rp with :iconTAE-AddictChick or when I simply got sick and tired of having to type out "Kalahari Meerkat" all the time. I just got used to it and started referring to her as "KM" to people who knew who she was. When I started deciding I wanted to change my name to "Kalahari" for real, everyone was against it at first but eventually they got used to it but the closest anyone got to addressing me as "Kalahari" are the kids of one of my brothers who address me as "Aunt Kally." The other ones call me "Aunt Jess", but one has such a deep Southern accent, it comes out as "Ain't Jess". My oldest brother only had one child but when she was born, I was only eight years old. She lived with my parents and I for a while and she was more like a little sister than a niece and being referred to as "Aunt" by her was/is just plain weird.

Yeah makes sense, I don´t know how I would feel about being called uncle or aunt, both sounds weird in my ears because it sounds so matching to an old person. I only had an uncle and an aunt who were 50 - 60 when I knew them.

I can see why you'd find being called "aunt" weird. LOL! I saw my mom's sister and her husband quite often and even though I knew she was my aunt, I was never taught to refer to them as "Aunt Trish" or "Uncle Jeff". I just called them "Trish" and "Jeff" like everyone else and everyone seemed okay with it. I'd be totally fine with it if my brothers' kids suddenly started referring to me as just "Jess" or just "Kally". They've slipped up a couple of times and my brother or sister-in-law remind them to address me as "Aunt"...or "Ain't".
My mother has a half-brother by the name of "John" but he and my mom were never that close. All I remember about him is my dad talking about how he put Christmas lights up in the door of his mobile home one year and somehow that messed up the electronics of his house because whenever anyone tried to open the refrigerator, there was the potential to electrocute yourself.

That´s why many people have house burns, LOL no seriously better get someone who knows his stuff.
To me both words sound weird, not just the word 'aunt' lol. Uncle sounds eben worse.

Yeah, especially seeing how it's also used to admit your defeat. Or at least was. Such as in The Lion King (at least in the English version), when Mufasa catches the hyenas one of them says, "Uncle! Uncle!" When I was a kid, I thought he was trying to say, "Uncle Mufasa" but kept getting cut off before he could say "Mufasa". But no, it's because he knew Mufasa could potentially kill him so he surrendered and was going to "say "uncle" before even being told to do so. I've never heard anyone tell someone to "say uncle" outside of a movie but apparently it's an actual phrase that dates back to Roman times. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Say_Uncl… Even when used as a term of endearment it's kinda creepy because Joseph Mengele would allow his victims to call him that...as a term of endearment. He also would buy them treats and take them on outings in order to gain their trust before experimenting on them.

Then in this case I would say Joseph Mengele would have such a relationship to his victims like Scar has to Simba LOL

Nah, Scar just wanted to kill Simba to be rid of him. Mengele just was just a sick creep who wanted to see what made them tick.

Yeah, and Scar never really tried to earn Simba's trust. He just put Simba into dangerous situations with the intention he would get killed.

Yes but he did need Simba's trust for that.
He just had luck that Simba already was trusting him.

Well it teaches us we can´t even trust our siblings. How much of an idiot I was. I watched The lion king all the time as a child and didn´t see how even my siblings were not trustworthy.
