I actually don't have a "Dialogue" thing... :/ Now I'm a little stuck. But I'm sure I'll figure it out?

Oh, I'm sorry!Β I didn't see this until now.
I no longer have GIMP, I'm afraid.Β This was made way back in 2008, so there have been many versions of the program since then.
The main idea behind the "dialogue>layer" is just that you're going to be making a new layer.Β docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-using-laβ¦
It would pull up the layer pallet, or layer list.Β And from there you could make a new layer and re-arrange them.Β The link above can help you find where the new menu option for the layers tool will be.Β I am sorry about that!Β Hope you're able to find some help with it!

The horse still looks rather patchy- a Gaussian blur would take care of that.

Yes it does. However, this was a quickly done requested tutorial about re-coloring, most only use one color. Itβs a general idea, not an in-depth class. Thank you though.
