It's not often you see Cthulhu with a visible mouth. This reminds me of a 90's comic called The Miskatonic Project, where each storyline was a sequel to a previous story by Lovecraft, seen from the viewpoint of investigating academics. In that comic Cthulhu looked very similar to your drawing.

Yes! They deliberately made it a silent because the story first came out in 1926, so that's when it takes place, too...it's amazing!!!
