Don’t recall Hyde being that dig and monstrous.

Allen Moore gave an explanation in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Oh, okay--I get what you were depicting, now! The greedy way that Hyde swallowed up Jekyll and took over! Yes, I like it very much, but--and this is not directed against your interpretation, by the way--I'm always looking for an artist's rendering of Hyde as Stevenson described him: dwarfish, pale, with that nameless aspect of deformity and such evil stamped in his face that you hate him on sight! I'll bet you can do it, if anyone can!
...PS: Don't let me swamp you with all these suggestions!

yes this was way more artistic representation than following true to the description, but you know, it just kinda made sense to me this way.

I doubt for this set I would draw another accurate hyde, maybe a one off drawing sometime? who knows!

Have you read "The mysterious gappers of fripp"? The art is wonderful and somewhat similar to this picture

Yeah, I just found it on B&N.com.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm always happy to find new books to read.

Thank you.
Jekyll and Hyde were the first ones I drew in this series, and still one of my favorites.
