My first ever Daily Deviation! So very exciting. Since I can't go through and thank you all individually, thank you so much for your favourites and comments - I'm glad you are enjoying it!

Wowee! I truely loved working on this one - so much fun! Really, really pleased with how it came out. I've been itching to use this horse stock for a while and finally decided to do it yesterday. Rather than just vaguely blur the wing and body together, I decided to create a wing joint to try and make it look reasonable. Very exciting watching it all come together.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if this was really how lightning was made!

Two small criticisms: the horse's left rear hoof is bent a little too far inward, and the bases of the wings should be parallel to the body, not perpendicular. Other than that, lovely work. The cloud coloration is gorgeous.

wings look a little strange ... i think they'be be better separated a bit, with more of an angle between them.... but great other than that

Nice job! One criticism I have is that the wings are both showing their underside. The wing on the creature's right should be showing the top side. The unintended effect is to make it look like it has two left wings, and no right wing.

About 30 years ago a a little girl I got an art book of unicorn paintings. I still have it. This piece reminds me of that book. Thank you. Gorgeous.

Beautiful. Congrats on the DD.
Just a couple of heads up. The horses right wing looks the exact same as the left. An obvious cut and pasted (which is fine) but it doesn't fit. At all. It needs to be completely flipped onto the other side of the horse. Look up Pegasus or winged horses to gain some idea of this.
Also, that horses left-back leg looks majorly dislocated.
However overall it's a nice piece of work, if you fixed these errors up then it would look amazing!

Perhaps try at least flipping the wing and (if you used Photoshop) use the transform tool in perspective or skew mode and play around with it.

euysbyksbdv holy crap i love this i hope someday to be able to do manips like this but currently I am at a VERY basic stage the only thing you did here that i can do is... save... resize... flip... paste... but merging things so beautifully & cropping RIGHT around the subject so it looks like it belongs in a new scene THAT i can't do I doubt i could even draw the horn making lightening but OMG you make me wanna learn more & get to work on ideas I've been sitting on for years
