This is an oooold wallpaper made ages ago. It was a collaboration between me and Mold123. Mold did the drawing of Slycer and I colored her and did the background.

Anyways, this wallpaper features my #1 favorite OC, Slicer/Slycer. (Side note: When I first created her and made this wallpaper her name was spelled Slicer. It has since been changed to Slycer.)

Slycer started out as a bit of a self-insert OC for a .hack fan comic Mold123 used to write about her and me when we were in middle school. As a result her appearance and style has also changed a lot from her original form.

This picture actually features a more updated look that I conceptualized. However, the final completed design you see above is Mold123's work. I basically just told her what I wanted: cat ears and tail, Sesshomaru face stripes, etc. And when it came to her outfit and weapons I asked for something inspired by Rider from Fate/Stay Night. Slycer's hairstyle on the other hand is based on the hairstyle I used to wear the most back in those days. So anyways, that's the story of how Slycer came to be.

But now Slycer has been long retired from her role as .hack OC. I have since developed an original story and persona for her, turning her from a middle school "self-insert" into a true blue story-character by her own right.

But even so she's still my favorite OC after all these years and honestly my most beloved OC baby.
