"I just can't believe you!" I scream resisting the urge to smack him.
"What was I supposed to do, you know I can't be seen with you!" Draco argues.
"You were just fine before you found out about my blood line! Why does it even matter to you?!"
"Of course it matters (name), I can't risk my reputation like that"
"How could I have been so stupid as to trust you? To help you? To tell you everything and how do you repay me? You cast me aside because the blood that runs through the veins of a person who truly cares about you isn't good enough!!!" I glare into his cold eyes, wishing he would just die! Only, I know I would morn him... That stupid brat. I swat away tears that escape my eyes. I'm supposed to be pissed damn it!
"Don't be so melodramatic" the blonde replies.
"I think I have earned my right to melodrama! Have you ever though about why I've always been there when you're at your worst? I'm always there when you need to cry. I'm always there to help you in your low times and smile at your triumphs. I've told you most everything about me. I've confided just about every dirty little secret of mine to you. And you can't handle my lineage?!? You want to know why I've wasted all this time being your rock and worrying about you when I could've been worried about me? It's because I'm a stupid teenager who thinks she's in love with a boy who doesn't give a damn about her!" Im basically pounding the tears out of my eyes now, but I don't care. He probably doesn't either.
Hurt flashes behind his eyes but I know it's just another game.
"(N-name)" he says, showing the little boy he really is on the inside, Draco steps forward hesitantly, his eyes searching mine. But then he clears his throat and his expression hardens again.
"Go" is all he says.
"But Draco-" I start
"Go." He repeats quietly, with his head hung. I was about to comply when I saw his hidden tears fall to the floor. I frown and like the stupid teenager I am, I walk over to him, placing my hands on his shoulders and rubbing them gently. He turns to me and embraces me with such need I feel as though I could almost forget everything he said to me, all those foul names he threw at me. Almost.
I feel his tears on my shoulder as his hold on me tightens, I finally hold him back. I wish I never told him about my muggle parents. I wish he wasn't brought up with such prejudice.
"I'm sorry" he whispers. I wish that 'I'm sorry' meant 'I won't ever do it again'. Draco kisses my shoulder, then my neck, and then my cheek, but that's where I stop him with my fingers on his lips.
"I am too" I say, giving him one last kiss, crying the whole time as was he. I then leave Draco to his prejudice and solitude because he wouldn't be seeing much of me after today.
