Red Tailed Hawk on the Attack Photo was taken near Horicon Marsh in Wisconsin, the Hawk missed his mark and headed for a tree out of rage of my lens.Related content

I actually really like the blurred wings, gives it a look of speed. The little thing also looks like a plane almost xD

Raptors are my favs to photograph and the hawks are one of my top birds to watch, hard part for me is getting close, and having a 300mm lens as my top lens makes it hard but when I do get in a good range it is all worth it.

I haven't gotten a photo of a wild raptor yet, but I have some of a few captive birds I know. I can understand not being able to get close enough though. My lens is only a 55mm right now, so wild birds will have to wait for a little while.
