you should've gotten yourself a different cooler, that stock one is pretty bad.


well i guess if you're not overclocking or anything of the like, and has an alright case, that shouldn't be an issue.

Well I do gaming with mods, but yeah I dun overclock. Wanted to get a liquid cooler, but I can always get that later

well if you absolutely don't overclock, liquid cooling really isn't necessary. the main reason to get an aftermarket cooler would be to make the system quieter and last longer. since the stock cooler is loud and not particularly great.

the plus with liquid cooling is that it gets the heat away from the cpu and into the cooler unit more efficiently, but that is first really something worth paying for when you start overclocking and the heat it spits out is significantly higher.


so i'd say, get a quiet aftermarket air cooler. no need for liquid. and yeah, you can ofcourse always get one later, just remember to get some proper thermal paste if it doesn't come with the new cooler, and also get some 95% alcohol or so to clean the old paste off. otherwise you'll get some sub par results.
