Description
This was fan art done for a recent Doctor Who Contest by Penguin Books, where the winners picked would be featured in a book of Doctor Who fan art collection. The theme of the contest was to pick an episode/story out of the top favorites list to do the artwork on. I chose the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) and his first story "Spearhead from Space". Sadly, I never got the email they said to look out for that says you would be picked/chosen. Congrats to those who won. In fact, I don't think there was any announcement about the result of the contest. EDIT - Turns out I was selected as one of the several winners. So this just might be seen in a book soon.
