Description              Captain Gary Chamberlain struggled desperately to maintain control of his bomber but the German ME-109 fighters swarmed around the damaged B-17 like a pack of hungry wolfs lining up to take down a injured deer.

"We got a fire in #2 engine!!" Lt Matt Warner screamed into his oxygen mask the young Lt cut the power to the damaged engine this only made Chamberlains job even more difficult. The sounds of the gun fire seemed to be drowned out from the screams and shouts of his crew barking out directions to where the enemy fighters were heading so that gunner could get the Nazi bastards.

Chamberlain arms ached has he tried desperately to maintain control and keep his ship steady. But with the flack damage they took caused his ship bucked and buffeted like an angry bull at some rodeo. Unable to keep up with the main strike force, Captain Chamberlain and his crew would have to fend for themselves. The Captain of Lucky Seven had hoped that by turning back and returned to base both he and his men would stand a better chance being that Allied air cover was only 150 away.  Unfortunately the squadron of German fighters found the wounded bomber first and now Chamberlain and his men were fighting for their lives.

"Ball Gunner to Captain!! Ball gunner to Captain enemy fighter at 9 o'clock!!"  The ball turret operator rotated his himself into position to get a good shot at the enemy. But the Germen fighter was all ready firing at the cockpit. The bullets from the enemy pierced the armored plating and Lt Matt Warner met death with 5 seconds of intense pain. Matt slumped forward in his seat.

As Gary Chamberlain began to scream for his co-pilot by name his ball turret gunner's twin machine guns finally found it mark and the enemy fighter exploded in mid air.  The main fuselage of the enemy fighter tumbled and twisted and slammed into the Lucky Seven midsection just past the ball turrets position.  What was left of the enemy fighter ripped into the mid-section of the B-17 killing both waist gunners. The Ball torrents Plexiglas covering was ripped off and Corporal Michael Peters found himself dangling 28,000 feet by only his safety harness.

"All hands abandon ship!! ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP" Chamberlain stared at his friends lifeless body for a brief moment and he and what was left of his crew bailed out of the doomed Lucky Seven.

It is very well written, good plot, and the first sentence is eye-catching However, I saw many many run-on sentences...for instance the very first sentence needs a , before the BUT. Other than that, very well done! Keep up the good work~
