I've been a fan of OOTS for several years, now, and always liked Redcloak. Earlier this year I finally read "Start of Darkness" and that pretty much pushed him to the top of my "Favorite OOTS characters" list. Poor dude has been through a lot. Part me of feels bad for Redcloak but to be fair he should have listened to Right-Eye regarding Xykon.

Oh certainly. But to be fair, it did seem like once they turned Xykon into a lich and found out he wasn't going to be so easy to control, it was too late to turn back. He probably could have done something about it if they had acted early on, but by the time Right-Eye tried convincing Redcloak to ditch the lich, Xykon was pretty much holding all the cards. That doesn't excuse killing his own brother though.
