Description
This was a study of a human skull, painted sight-size at the Angel Academy of Art. The velvet fabric was particularly tricky, but I enjoyed the challenge.My favorite part of this project was that I had a lot more freedom with it than students at the Angel Academy ordinarily have with plaster cast paintings, so it's less academic than the rest of my work and more reflective of my own taste. After all this academic work, I'd say it's about time!
