I'm sorry, and this is going to sound really weird, but how did you make it so that when you use the thumb, it works in the chatroom? I think I have my pixel thing the same way you have it saved (GIF file and such). I'm using Photoshop CS4 if that makes things any different.

I don't know anything about that... I just made in Paint, saved as GIF in PhotoFiltre and animated it in UnFREEz :b

the sprite is good, but I see something odd in his chest/belly
It looks like something is missing, maybe a little more shadow would help
