I remember that comic! Marvel did it, right? I think I read it in a book store once, I liked it too. I think that's were I got the inspiration to draw this elite.[link] He was in the same comic, right?

Yeah, I was soooo lucky when I finally found a re-print of that book a couple of years ago. Bought it on the spot. It had been out of print for quite a while before that and I first encountered the story as online scans ...

Yes, as far as I was able to understand, that's actually Thel 'Vadamee (the Halo 3 Arbiter before he became the Arbiter) in his Supreme Commander's cloak.

Sweet! Yeah, I read it a few years ago and, of corse, I didn't quite understand the characters and all, so I was all like, "OOOOO, that looks cool!.....ew. what's that? I don't know but, it looks awesome though!"

Ha ha, okay. Well, I was already into Halo by then so I pretty much 'knew' the characters as such. It didn't help much though that I accidently stumbled into a very certain slash fanfic just after reading that, about Kusovai and Rtas, ha ha.

But the first pic I ever saw of Halo was from googling the word Halo and spotting a CE Elite with an Energy sword. I was instantly hooked and had to know more! So before long I had acquired an Xbox, he he. I never thought I'd own a gaming console in my life .. and now I have four! XD

Oh, my! I got 4 game consoles myself, not including the computer. I have Two N64's (one for my older sister and one for me), Xbox, which still works mind you, a Game Cube, and Xbox 360. My older sister has a PS2, that she later gave to me shortly after she left, a PS3 and a Wii.

Yeah, not to boast or anything, but my step dad knew a guy that had a proto-type of Halo CE and the three of us, (him, my step dad, and I) played it together before the official release. It was the first 'first person shooter game' that I've ever played. And I was able to keep the Xbox after my step dad left.Yes!

Now that I think about it, I remember my step dad's friend doing something when we where in the middle of playing in multiplayer; you know that program thingy for Halo Reach called, "the Cortana chip" for the 360? Well, when my step dad's friend did something similar to what the extra program can do, he was able to pause the game and control his downloaded music and play that game at the same time! So, he already had that feature before they gave it to the public.
I wonder why they took so long to get that out for the public?
I always have to make a playlist before I start playing my Halo Reach because I can't skip or change the music while playing it. So if I forget to remove a song, I'm stuck with listening to it!

Ha ha, it's not as bad as it sounds actually. At first I had a single old Xbox 360 and I dragged it back and forth with me between my place and my mother's, and then I got fed up with dragging it and a 24" monitor back and forth so I bought a second console. And two years later I upgraded to the new slim model, one in each place, so ...

So which console do you prefer? I only know the Xbox of course but I've heard both good and bad things about the others.

That's awesome! I haven't known Halo that long, only for about four years now. From what I understand, CE was a huge thing back when it released, totally revolutionary. Wish I'd been around back then. I mean, I was, I'm ancient, lol, but I hardly knew the name Xbox back then, heh.

Hm, never heard of the Cortana chip. Then again, never liked Reach that much so I haven't really played it a lot. That's funny though.

Heh, I couldn't stand listening to music when I play Halo or anything else for that matter, that'd be way too distracting. I even started muting other players a couple of years ago to be able to enjoy my peace and quiet. There were some times on Halo 3 where the talk in the pregame lobby turned out so hilarious I was laughing so hard I couldn't focus on the ensuing game, ha ha.

Yes, I've seen them! It kinda reminds me of Metroid Prime when you get that Magma cannon and make a charged blow to an enemy and watch him being disintegrated by the intense heat. O_______o
