It's been a long while since I've done something other than Halo or Zelda art. XD I'm very happy and pleased to draw monsters again, and this one turned out wonderful!

(spoiler alert!) This is Sa-X from Nintendios Metroid Fusion. It's the second to last battle before the end of the game where you face Sa-X and it transforms into its second stage. Which is this monster here. I wanted to draw it as close to the original design with a hint of my own influence to glorify it.

All drawn on paper and pencil with some ink. Edited/cleaned up on PS CS5. I intend to color it at a later time.
