Kenneth Chamberlain, Sr. was a 68-year-old African American Marine veteran. Police were called to his house because of a false alarm from a medical alert pendant that he wore. When the police arrived he told them that they were not needed, and he was fine. The medical alert dispatcher also told the police that they were withdrawing their alert. The police demanded entry (while using racial slurs), and broke down Mr. Chamberlain's door. After gaining entry in Mr. Chamberlain's private residence they shot him with a taser, and then fatally shot him with their firearms.Though this event happened in November, no action has been taken against the police officers. The audio recording of the incident (from the medical alert communicator) has been confiscated and not allowed into public view.
I usually do not do much politically inspired art, it is too depressing for me. However, after reading about this incident, I feel like I have to do whatever small part I can to raise awareness about what went on.

Yeah, it is quite disturbing to see how, even in this world of constant information flow, the cops were able to keep this story under wraps for so long. However, I think that it only takes a handful of people distributing this stuff on social networks for the news to spread.
