My first ever legitimate fan art from the book series, "The Wheel of Time". Coolest bunch of books ever. I'm only on book 6 so no... major spoiling now.We have Rand... and we Have Mat being a show off.
Rand and Mat belong to Robert Jordan. Not me.

Ohoo, I like the ashandarei (sp?) and Mat's coat/smirk. For some reason Rand makes me think of Alan Alda, but I'm certain it's not a sane reason.

Rand is sososososo close to how I see him, but the face itself is a liiiitle off (I thought it a bit longer and thinner)

I got to book 4 and haven't picked them up since. I need to do it again but I could kinda feel like Jordan was dragging his feet a bit with the plot. It was like DBZ for fantasy. I'll still finish it though.. .someday! LOVE the drawings!! (even though I loathe Rand... maybe why I have slowed down on the reading)

The best thing to do, is to just read them. Don't try to time yourself, because I'm not going to lie. The series takes a while to read. Audio books always help too. My friend doesn't have the books but she has the audio, so she listens to those while she draws and such. I prefer to actually have the book open, but for the sake of time and me wanting to finish the series, I think I might try my friend's method.. but yeah! Don't be shy! They are great books!

I haven't gotten to the part where Mat is the main focus yet, but I just keep hearing good things about him. I'm hoping I feel the same as the rest. XD
