Photojournalism - PeopleStrive means to to make strenuous efforts to achieve a goal. I think it's safe to say that his goal is a better life.
It's a sad reality of life that some of our fellow countrymen, our fellow human beings, have to work at such a young age as a means to survive. This was taken while we were on vacation in Boracay Island, Philippines. We were riding in a tricyle(a form of public transport) when I saw this and I knew I had to take a picture.

It was actually a very spontaneous photograph and I only discovered it while I was browsing through my old pictures. It was then I realized that it was a powerful photo.
