Even if in my canon playthrough my warden is in a romantic relationship with Alistair, I still ship Ali and Morri so hard xD.*sigh* If they only had a little more interaction in DAI :C

In a playthrough when Alistair becomes king, that could happen, but, if he stays as a grey warden, that would not be possible. Because Anora makes him renounce to his right to the throne, for himself and all his heirs. Personally, I like more Alistair as a warden (in DAI, king Alistair almost has no participation in the story, and he can't meet Kieran if he is not a grey warden :/)

ah fair, i had Alistair be king because i did not trust Anora and it was Alistair's birth right to take the throne
and i like the idea of Morrigan bringing Kieran to meet Alistair at some point during his rule

I blame it on the voice actors.
In the toolset (the script if you will) it clearly says they hate each others but....
their dialogue come more full of UST than of hate to me.
