I know that I uploaded a piece from my stay at Cannon Beach last month, but this time I couldn't resist. Back at Haystack Rock right before sunset. What you are looking at is the receding low-tide on the sands. My camera could not possibly recreate the sublime experience that I had while I was there; and after being in Oregon's rainforest for 3 days straight, it was overly refreshing to be reminded that green isn't the only color in the world.No filters or edits used, taken off of my cell phone around 8:30-8:45pm in late May.

Nooooo, I didn't even know about half of the culinary concoctions that Oregon offers. Being a big wine and coffee connoisseur I hit up a winery and a cafe (dutch brother's is shit and isn't included on this list) in every town that I went through. I want back there so badly, and wish that I could live there, but alas, the chowder will have to wait for my return when I head back.

Next time if you are up around Yachats Oregon, check out Green Salmon www.thegreensalmon.com no chowder there but a heck of a lot of other good things for the pallet

Sound's like an awesome place to go. I love farm-to-fork dining and I could use another idealic trip to Oregon next year. I'll be sure to put Yachats, OR on my checklist road map next time I go. btw, what would you say is the best time of the year to head to Yachats?

Usually early summer is best. Too early in the spring and the rain will be cold but either way there will be rain lol
