Ever seen or played Final Fantasy...any of them? Then you'll know who Bahamut is in the series.Probably
That's where a huge chunk of inspiration came from doing this project as my brother's birthday present. My brother Anthony a.k.a. "Bahamut Ali" or "Dragon Powder" became a brony right along side me when we started exploring the show and what made it so good, but Spike was the only dragon in the series with any consistent impact, so it's understandable why OCs of this fandom are almost exclusively ponys. Being both a brony and a fan of Final Fantasy (primarily the titles that came out of the 90's) it only made sense that he would choose a Baby-hamut (Shaddup, you know that sounded cute. Say it out loud and tell me it isn't adorz.) as his OC.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with his design and attempting to give him some metallic sheen to his scales. I'm happy that my little brother enjoys it, and I hope you're all jelly. If you're jelly enough then feel free to ask for a commission from me via note.

Thanks, but i was kinda going for the FF9 version of Bahamut for this commission. If I had room for it i probably would have added the disk and changed up his horns for the FF10 version. Who knows, I might be asked to do said version in the future, but I wouldn't quite count on it.
