Description Hey guys, I hope y'all are ready for "Stage 2" of the Capcom Cinematic Universe, which takes place exactly after the first stage. The theme of this stage is Rebellion, which is more prevalent in the Mega Man X films. In other words, the main antagonist of this phase is going to be (SPOILER WARNING) good ol' Sigma, thanks to him being rebuilt by Berkana and Gareth. So let's not waste anymore time and get started!

STAGE 2: REBELLION

RESIDENT EVIL 2

Beginning this second phase of the CCU is the sequel to Resident Evil, obviously named Resident Evil 2 (just in time for the remake!). The stars of this particular film are Claire Redfield, sister of Chris Redfield, and Leon Scott Kennedy, a rookie police officer, who are forced to survive in Raccoon City, where a majority of its citizens have become zombies due to the T-Virus. As stated earlier, this is an adaption of the classic Resident Evil 2, with elements from the Darkside Chronicles and the remake (hopefully). It also happens to take place during the events of the first Arcadians film, as to why this is the first entry in the second phase.

PLOT: Set two months after the first Resident Evil movie, the citizens of Raccoon City have been turned into zombies thanks to Umbrella's T-Virus. The remaining survivors, Leon S. Kennedy, a police officer on his first day of the job, and Claire Redfield, a college student in search of her brother Chris, escape to the Raccoon Police Department, only to discover a majority of the police force has been eradicated or mutated. Believing that there could be more survivors out there, Leon and Claire split up to seach for them, as well as a possible escape route. However, they will soon discover the dark truth behind the epidemic in Raccoon City.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: We are treated to a shot inside Dr. Light's lab, where the doctor himself receives a call from none other than Dr. Wily! According to the evil doctor, after being bitter from his defeat in The Arcadians, he claims to have learned his previous errors and decided to work with his old partner in creating the latter's lifelong dream, the peace-keeping robot "Gamma."

MEGA MAN 3

If the two doctors' appearances in the post-credits scene is any indication, you are about to witness the second entry of Stage 2 of the CCU, Mega Man 3. Of course, it is the sequel to Mega Man 2, which sees the Blue Bomber assisting Doctors Light and WILY by searching for the eight Energy Elements scattered across space in order to activate Gamma, the doctors' first joint project in years. But Mega Man would have to defeat eight of their Robot Masters, which were designed to search for the Energy Elements until they went berserk. This film also introduces Rush, the robotic canine partner of Mega Man, as well as the enigmatic "Break Man," who mostly appears to interrupt Mega Man's journey.

PLOT: After his defeat in the hands of the Arcadians, Dr. Wily decides to turn over a new leaf and helps his rival Dr. Light with the creation of Gamma, a giant robot designed to act as the peacekeeper of the future. With the robot almost complete, the two doctors designed eight Robot Masters to mine for the eight Energy Elements scattered across space to complete it. But all of a sudden they went haywire and terrorized the eight planets the elements were located. After receiving this news, Mega Man jumps into action, now partnered with the robotic dog Rush, to defeat them and obtain the Energy Elements. Meanwhile, a robot with a yellow scarf follows him to the deep ends of space.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: Somewhere deep in the ruins of the Amazon Rainforest, an inactive machine lays underground. The "eye" on the machine barely lights up before the sreen fades to black, and the last thing we hear is the machine starting to activate.

STREET FIGHTER III

Well, that was some foreshadowing right there. But we'll get back to that soon. Anyway, the last time we saw good ol' Ryu, he became an Arcadian member and assisted with the defeat of Death. Some months have passed, and now he and the other World Warriors are faced with a new threat: the S.I.N. corporation. So, in other words, in spite of the title (we're not there yet guys.), the sequel to Street Fighter II is actually an adaption of Street Fighter IV, or its most recent update, Ultra Street Fighter IV. This also means that we'll be seeing characters like Abel, the French amnesiac with ties to Shadaloo, Juri Han, a spy who works for S.I.N., and Decapre, the "twin" of Cammy. Bison also returns, now with an even stronger body, as well as Akuma, who is now facing his brother, Gouken, who survived.

PLOT: After being attacked by Akuma during the climax of Street Fighter II, Bison returns with a newer body that was mass-produced by Shadaloo. He learns that one of the "Dolls" that the organization was creating has attacked the scientists and escaped, now naming himself Seth. He forms his own organization, S.I.N., and announces a fighting tournament in order to attract powerful warriors to complete his very own "BLECE" project. His true objective, however, is to draw in Ryu and drain him of his Satsui no Hadō to fully realize his project. Well aware of this, Ryu, as well as many other fighters, participates in the tournament anyway to put an end to S.I.N.'s schemes, even if it costs him his life.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: Somewhere in a large garage, silhouettes of four people stand in front of four larger silhouettes. As the garage door opens, light shines upon the larger silhouettes, revealing them to be giant colored robots. But just before the light could reach the four human-sized silhouettes, one of them, possibly the one at the right end of the group, shouts with a determined warcry, "It's on!"

ARMORED WARRIORS

With street fighting out of the way, it's time for one of the many things I was looking forward to, mech fighting! That's right, Armored Warriors is up next in Stage 2. Yes, I could have gone with its more-popular sequel, Cyberbots, but that's something I want to save for the next phase. So for now, we'll stick with what we have. I can imagine this playing out like other mech films, notably Pacific Rim and the Evangelion Rebuild films. In this flick, four soldiers of the United Earth Forces are sent piloting the Variant Armors in order to defeat an army of cyborgs in the planet Raia. There would also be foreshadowing to the events that will lead to Cyberbots, just to tie up loose ends.

PLOT: After a treaty between the United Earth Government and the Raia Empire ends a nearly century-long war, reports came to the United Earth Government from its scouting party about the Raian capital, Melkide, being captured by an army of cyborgs. The UEG sends the Red Shield Unit, consisting of Jeff "Rash" Perkins, Ray "Justice" Turner, Glenn "Gray" Reed, and Sarah "Siren" White, to the planet Raia piloting Variable Armors in order to deal with the mechanical rebels.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: Somewhere in space, a capsule labeled "Ganglions of Omniscient Disrupter" is seen floating around. We hear multiple layers of evil laughter before the screen fades to black.

CAPTAIN COMMANDO in BATTLE CIRCUIT

The last time we saw Captain Commando, he participated in the battle against Death and became one of the Arcadians. Now he must lead a new team of Commandos against the mad scientist Dr. Saturn, who possesses a computer disk carrying a program dubbed the "Shiva System." If the title didn't give it away already, the sequel to Captain Commando is a crossover with another near-forgotten beat 'em up (which now saw light in the latest Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle), Battle Circuit. I personally saw that game as a successor to Captain Commando, so I think this sequel makes sense. This film will introduce the likes of Cyber Blue, Pink Ostrich, Captain Silver, Alien Green, and even Yellow Iris. There are cameos of the previous Commandos as well, such as Baby Head, who would be adopted into a wealthy family.

PLOT: After the defeat of Scumocide, Captain Commando finds himself leading a group of superpowered bounty hunters who have recently defeated a mad scientist named Dr. Saturn. He learns that the Delete Gang is after the disk Dr. Saturn had, which contained the contents for a malicious computer program titled the "Shiva System." Now the newly-formed Commando Team finds themselves in a race against time to reclaim the disk before the Delete Gang could use it for their own evil purposes.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: A white-haired man in a red jacket is seen walking down a dark alley. Carrying a long silver sword, he approaches an empty shop, to which the man himself smiles as he considers owning this place.

DEVIL MAY CRY

Another new addition to Stage 2, and one that I bet everyone has been waiting for! That's right, everybody's favorite demon hunter makes his debut in the CCU. According to the timeline, however, DMC3 takes place before the first DMC, so we'll be covering that first. As such, the story will progress as such while introducing Dante himself, Lady, Vergil, and others that appeared here into the CCU. Other than that, I have nothing else to say about this, since it's the exact story based on Devil May Cry 3. So by any means...LET'S ROCK, BABY!

PLOT: Dante, a demon hunter in the midst of opening his own shop, receives an invitation from his long-lost brother, Vergil. During a demon attack, Dante witnesses a giant tower emerging from the center of the city. Believing this is a challenge set up by Vergil, he takes off to the tower only to run into a woman named "Mary," who is fighting for her mother's death. The two then race against each other to defeat Vergil and his advisor, a man named Arkham.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: Dante returns to his recently-named "Devil May Cry" shop after his victory over Vergil over the Force Edge, only to notice someone else inside. It appears to be Haggar, the mayor of Metro City who has been noticing the heroic acts he has been doing and wants to recruit him in to the Arcadians team. To which, Dante agrees.

DARKSTALKERS: THE CHAOS TOWER

Okay, at this point, I might be making more original plotlines for future entries. The first to do this is this sequel to Darkstalkers, named after the Dreamcast and PSP game of the same name. In this film, the titular tower appears out of nowhere and the Darkstalkers are sent to investigate it. The main antagonist is Nomidas, an original creation that is based on the Lich King, who rebuilt this tower as a means to reawaken his empire. Unlike the first movie, where the Darkstalkers and Dark Hunters fight each other in order to reach Pyron (like the first two games), this film has the Darkstalkers teaming up, albeit temporarily, to deal with Nomidas' army.

PLOT: Nine months after the events of the first Darkstalkers film, the world was finally at peace until the appearance of an unknown tower. It belonged to Nomidas, the king of despair that was said to have fallen alongside his army inside the tower thanks to a team of demons. But now, Nomidas has risen and was able to form a new army out of the very beings of humans. With no hope left, Hsien-Ko must gather the Darkstalkers in order to defeat Nomidas and save the humans.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: In a hidden area, a ritual was taking place between a group of mages. After their incantation has been finished, the blue liquid-like substance rises and glows as it forms a menacing being. As the humanoid being was close to completion, a silent laugh was heard as the screen fades to black before the figure's face is formed. (The start of the intro to Vampire Savior, basically)

MEGA MAN X2

It's about time we save whoever that was being resurrected for later and move on to 21XX. So, the last time we saw X, he thought he finally defeated Sigma and ended his rebellious tyranny among humans and Reploids. Six months later, he became the new leader of the Maverick Hunters. He hears of a group of Mavericks, known as the X-Hunters, that has each of Zero's parts. Determined to rebuild his partner, X rushes in to reclaim the parts while also retiring eight new Mavericks. The story will likely be the same in this film, while also delving deep into X's character, such as his responsibility as the new head of the Maverick Hunters and how pacifism might be useless to the vilest of Mavericks.

Oh, and inb4 "Green Biker Dude" jokes.

PLOT: Six months after the events of the first Mega Man X film, X has been appointed as the new commander of the Maverick Hunters, replacing the late Maverick Sigma. He has received reports of Maverick activity occurring even after Sigma's defeat, the largest of which located in the North Pole. He infiltrates the base that was located there and meets the three X-Hunters—Serges, Agile, and Violen—who have Zero's parts, which were destroyed during the final battle against Sigma. The X-Hunters contact the Maverick Hunters shortly thereafter and taunt them with Zero's body. X, willing to risk his life to rebuild his friend, ventures to defeat the X-Hunters, as well as the eight Mavericks located in several areas, and reclaim Zero's parts.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: In a dark room, the audience is treated with a small statue dripping with blood. We are then shown a woman lying on the ground, unconscious and bleeding. A man dressed in a purple suit and red tie is shown, afraid of what he saw. The man then comes up with a plan to try and cover up this murder and notices a rugged man. He smiles devilishly as the scene fades to black.

ACE ATTORNEY

"...Seriously, dude? An ACE ATTORNEY film?!" Are you telling me you haven't seen this one coming, especially since Ace Attorney is one of Capcom's biggest franchises? I actually felt like including it into the CCU, especially since good ol' Phoenix Wright might play a part in a future phase. But how will this film's plot work, you may ask, especially since it features five cases? Simple: run by the first four trials in this movie while the last one (which was included in the DS version) will be briefly mentioned in the post-credits scene. Also, these won't be rushed liked the anime adaption. Think of this like that film Marshall, or more like the Law & Order TV series.

PLOT: Phoenix Wright, a rookie defense attorney, was in the midst of defending his long-time friend of being framed of a murder crime. After successfully revealing the true culprit of the murder, he learns that his mentor Mia Fey was killed and her younger sister Maya has been arrested. With his mentor gone, it is up to Wright to put his defense skills to the test and save anyone that was wrongly convicted.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: After the case of Gregory Edgeworth was resolved, Phoenix is participating in another trial, a murder of Bruce Goodman. With a mixture of both embarrassement and determination, he prepares to defend the next innocent victim, Lana Skye, and shouts one more time "OBJECTION!"

RIVAL SCHOOLS: UNITED BY FATE

Now here is a favorite of mine that is on its way to make the big screen. The fourth newcomer of Stage 2 of the CCU, Rival Schools will depict the events of the first game in the short-lived series. Here, the four schools of Aoharu City are victims of random attacks and abduction of school faculty. Out of confusion over these attacks, the students of these schools are pointing at each other and resorting to physical means. But eventually they will learn to work together and find the real culprit of these attacks, the prestigious Justice Academy. Elements from the Udon comic will also be used to further establish the story. And of course, like Final Fight, it is connected to the Street Fighter universe, so expect a cameo of a certain schoolgirl somewhere in this film.

PLOT: In Aoharu City, Japan, several schools were victims of mass attackings and kidnappings of students and school faculty. Batsu Ichimonji, a delinquint in search of his mother, ends up being transfered to one of the schools, Taiyo High School. He learns from most of the students that the elite Justice Academy could be the mastermind behind these events. Teamed up with Hinata Wakaba and Kyosuke Kagami, Batsu begins his investigation of his mother's disappearance, but not before entering what could be a warzone between three other schools: Gorin High School (where most of the all-star atheletes are avenging the defeat of their peers), Gedo High School (where a gang is searching for their boss), and Pacific High School (an overseas high school sent to investigate these events). Soon enough, they will protect their schools.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: The audience is shown a set of claws on the screen. The claws then move up to an individual's face, likely obscuring it for a more ominous outlook. The individual then whispers how Hyo has failed him and smiles chillingly.

MEGA MAN X3

"Are you freakin' kidding? First an Ace Attorney film, now ANOTHER Mega Man X movie in the same phase?! Are you a madman?!" Yes, and yes I am! However, the reason this is here is to establish closure before we reach the BIG EVENT, if you catch my drift. But anyway, the plot of this film is the same as the game it's based on: X and Zero must deal with eight new Mavericks controlled by Dr. Doppler, who fooled them into being invited to his "utopia." While this is mostly based on the game, it will also use elements from the manga, especially where some of the Mavericks side with the Maverick Hunters to stop Sigma.

PLOT: One year after the events of Mega Man X3, a Reploid scientist known as Dr. Doppler has come up with a remedy to the ongoing Maverick disasters: using his Neuro Computer to control any source of Maverick activity. The former Mavericks praised the doctor and formed a utopia named after him, Dopple Town. But as things were going smoothly, the Reploids that were Mavericks in the past have suddenly become berserk once again and attacked the Maverick Hunters' headquarters. X and Zero received the news and went into action once more to defeat the Mavericks and Dr. Doppler.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: Somewhere in the debris of Dr. Doppler's fortress, what remained of Sigma was all but destroyed. However, two individuals walk up to a computer, which, when turned on, has the face of Sigma on the screen. When one of the individuals, a female, states that it is time for his new rebellion, the Sigma on the screen smiles devilishly.

BREATH OF FIRE

Now before we reach the event that will tie in to the previous film's post-credits scene, it's time we transition to the magical realm of Aspiria. Which means yes, it's time we meet one more newcomer in this second phase, the overlooked RPG Breath of Fire. For those who are familiar with the series, you will know that the games do take place in one setting, but often changes throughout each installment, much like the Legend of Zelda. So to remedy this, I've decided to try and combine these time periods into a single entity. But I'm getting ahead of myself, so here we go. I'm actually going to use a more original plot that is almost inspired by the first Breath of Fire: Ryu (yes, that is the protag's name) embarks on a quest to avenge his fallen village with the help of some new ones. So yeah, that's basically all there is to it.

PLOT: A small dragon escapes from a crystal mine, only to end up in a large forest and transform into a human boy. He was eventually taken in by a wise sage named Gaelo. The boy, who can only remember his name is Ryu, is taken in by him and taught by his ways to fight. 14 years later, Ryu was in the process of being promoted to top mercenary by his village, impressing Gaelo. But during the ceremony, a horde of monsters attacked everyone and Ryu tried to fight back. That was when he transformed into a dragon and managed to annihilate all of the monster before falling unconscious afterwards. Reawakening 6 months later, Ryu witnessed that his village is now in ruins thanks to the monsters and is now motivated to go on a new quest to defeat their leader. Throughout his voyage he is encountered by newfound partners such as Nina, the princess of Wyndia, and Shin, a member of the Cave-Dwellers clan.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: A diorama of the "Forgotten Heroes" is shown crawling horizontally. Out of these heroes, one of them has blue hair and another is a blonde female with wings. It is shown that they are all attempting to attack a woman, possibly a Goddess. The shot of the diorama ends as it reaches an orange dragon. (This is the intro to Breath of Fire III, btw)

ARCADIANS: THE RISE OF SIGMA

Finally, we have reached the final film, as well as the big event of Stage 2! Sigma is (once again) rebuilt thanks to the efforts of Berkana and Gareth and they form a new Maverick army out of the Reploids of Red Alert (yeah you heard me, Red Alert from MMX7, but this time they have...better characteristics), with plans of transforming several worlds into a mechanical wasteland. Now the Arcadians must team up with the Maverick Hunters to stop them. So for the sequel to the first Arcadians film and for the sake of following tradition, it will be based off of the story of Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, but with darker themes added to the film and teeny tiny bits of MvC: Infinity included. The story also includes Dante and the new Commando Team as new additions to the Arcadians, as well as other characters that will soon be members of the Arcadian team such as X, Zero, Leon Kennedy, Chun-Li, Hsien-Ko, and Axl (once again, from MMX7. I felt like introducing the cast from that game early to avoid the risk of adapting that trash). Speaking of MSHvSF, we get to witness Shadow Nash, Cyber Akuma and Mech Zangief (the former being a reinvented cyborg made by Shadaloo, and the latter two are victims of Sigma's influence) in this film as well.

PLOT: After his latest defeat in the hands of X and Zero, Sigma is resurrected by two Mavericks, Berkana and Gareth. Sigma swore revenge on the Maverick Hunters since his rebuild, so in order to achieve his vision, he spreads his Sigma Virus to the Reploids of Red Alert, a vigilante group that is no different from the Maverick Hunters, turning them into Mavericks in the process. He ordered his new Maverick army to spread the virus to the various worlds of the Arcadians, in addition to bringing him certain worthy fighters to join his cause. Amidst the mechanical chaos, the Arcadians, both old and new, must form an alliance with the Maverick Hunters and rebel against Sigma's forces to save all of their worlds.

POST-CREDITS SCENE: A group of silhouetted individuals are gathered in a shadowy room. They have witnessed the events that came down in the movie and are determined to take down the Arcadians themselves. They then hear a masculine voice silencing them. The originator of the voice reveals himself to be similar to Death from the first Arcadians film, but with cybernetics attached to his body. The man then yells "Now it's time for revenge!"

LIST OF THE ARCADIANS MEMBERS AS OF STAGE 2:
