Penelope drawn in the style of the promotional artwork for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time!I mostly used the ones with Carmelita [link] and the one with Bentley [link] (mostly for glasses) as reference when I did this.
I've been working on this FOREVER. I think I started quite shortly after the E3, (when I heard about Sly 4!
) probably at the end of July or the beginning of June. I worked on it whenever I wasn't busy either working or enjoying the summer weather. But, as soon as school started, I didn't work on it anymore, so it has basically been laying around since Summer :/ I just wasn't happy with it then, but now I've realised (thanks to my boyfriend who said it to me) that I just can't make it more perfect with the tools I have (Photoshop 7.0). So, after working on a few details yesterday, I decided "what the hell" and decided to submit it as it is now. So uuh, here you go
I even added the screwdriver there in quite a late stage, so it's actually a layer of its own. I originally thought "Nah, I'm not gonna include that", but after asking Tuomas and just, well, looking at it, I decided to include it after all.
Time period: June-August (+ November)

Yeah me too! It has always bothered me that you can't play as her and just walk freely, you know... I'm afraid we won't be able to do that in Sly 4 either :__: I think her only appearence may be in cutscenes, or as an informant in the present (while the gang is in the past/future)... It's so unfair.... :_:
I like the way she looks, but there's a lot to say about her voice...

I don't want to get on the bad side of anyone, and I think that it is a very good painting, but I hope that Penelope isn't in the game. One reason? Her voice. If she gets a different actress, then I won't mind. Maybe Angelina Jolie.

I guess her voice is kind of annoying, but it's part of why I love her; I don't think my voice is angelic either. I can see why some people don't like Penelope and I'm perfectly okay with that ^^

Since her first appearance, I always liked Penelope's character, she's one of my faves, along with Murray, Bentley and Sly. This looks really AWESOME.

Its quiet a shame but maybe she'll be seen somewhere or there will be an Easter Egg that shows a picture of Penelope somewhere in the game. I'm glad you did made this, it gives me hope for Penelope being in Sly 4. Thank you for give me hope.

In a recent video interview the director mentioned her when setting up the story for Sly 4. I would assume she'll be in the game via a cut-scene or something.

Yeah, I saw that too... But what bothered me was the words "Bentley's girlfriend at the time"... It's not like he ever had one before? Will their time travels accidentally cause her not being his girlfriend? Maybe I'm overanalyzing here but it sounded weird to me
But yes, they did mention her, but I'm afraid she won't have a great role... I don't think she will accompany them on their mission, but perhaps she will stay in the present to be sort of their reporter about how the Thievius Raccoonus pages re-appear? Time will tell
