Description
An early model of a turret-less tank destroyer that had entered service during in the early years of the war. Although the tank destroyer is quite heavy with its armor protection but rather light with it's main armament. Equipped with two high-caliber machine guns for defense against infantry attacks. Along with a powerful for its time high-velocity main cannon. This tank design is for my friend PanzerbyteTier: 3
Crew: 4
- commander
- loader
- gunner
- driver
Hull armor (including the superstructure) Consists of regular welded steel armor
Front: 60mm
Sides: 43mm
Rear: 12mm
Armament: 1x 67mm high velocity main cannon, accurate along with great penetration value
2x .50cal heavy browning machine guns with 1,200 rounds each
Powerplant: 1x 160hp V1 Liberty engine
Along with equipping great suspension and transmission systems.
Pros:
- thick frontal, and side armor
- great rate of fire
- great penetration value
- great speed
Cons:
- poor hull traverse
- limited gun traverse
- somewhat riddled with weak spots
- poor view range
The CFL-65FS was considered somewhat advanced for its time, having a high velocity gun along with several heavy MG for maximum firepower. Although there some weaknesses of this tank has to offer, such as its poor hull traverse, and limited gun traverse but that is all compensated with its great firepower, penetration and thick armor. It was quickly issued for tank in which has great frontal and side armor to give and assault against anti-tank guns, as they are big threat to the allies advance. And so the Ministry has created a little vehicle of their own, designated as the CF-65FS Hog. Both fast and heavy at the same time. Development started immediately after, and production started two months after that. It was in the year 1940 that the Hog entered service. It was rather effective during the time, but quickly became obsolete the several months after new tanks came into the battlefield. It was in the year 1947 that the last Hog retired. And a total of 1,876 tanks were produced during the war.

Extend teh barrel by about 4 feet oast the shroud remove the wood and add the M2 firing grip (2 handles with a button on top) ANd upsize the whole thing by about 30%,

Like that monster. Though if it's a TD you may want to nix the commanders MG alltogether. usually TD's are to far to care about people or have IFV's with them

Ideally having the Tank Destroyers far away would make them less of a target from enemies but that isn't always true. Entering combat with this kind of mindset is very dangerous especially in hostile territory and during the army's advance. One of the few reasons tanks had mounted machine guns for their commander and loader was due to either the threat of enemy infantry coming close to the vehicle or the threat of air attack. Unlike in previous wars the modern war makes it very difficult to identify who is your enemy.
As for your M2 description, very well done. I'm glad you know your stuff.

Nice little TD! Reminds me of a cross between the Valentine AT and the SU-85I.
