Description So here's Todd Nauk's image series WILDGUARD, in a pin up. I'm def into the series and just really like the wide cast of characters. Not sure if I'm going to try and add a background, or more characters. I kind of feel that the more characters I'd add, would kill the layout as it is, but we'll see. Either way feel free to rip me up on it, as always.

Hey! Thanks for posting this WildGuard piece.
I love seeing people's renditions of my characters.

The piece looks good. Here are a few praises/critiques.
1. Great layout and variation of sizes of figures. Nice gestures.
2. However, Red Rover's left arm is hidden behind Lily's hammer in an odd way. Creates an awkward tangent.
3. Freezerburn's chest and abdomen looks too small for the size of his head and arms.
4. Snapback's mullet looks sweet. The roasting marshmallow is fun.
5. Great details and line work.
6. Lily's right braid... The end of the braid is creating a tangent with the edge of the hammer.

Keep on drawing!

I'm not seeing any reason to "rip you" - your work is solid and shows a lot of talent. The reason I'm choosing to post beneath Todd Nauck's comment is simply to add one teeny little thing to his second comment: no only is the arm "hidden" behind the hammer in such a way as to make it just look 'odd', but (and this is the more distracting aspect to me) it follows a direct line into the leg of the central figure above (Freezerburn, as it were) which creates a merger that is inescapable.

Other than that, I'd like to see the small female figure in the background on the right-hand side (name unknown - at least to me) a tad larger. I'd also like to see how the page flows with the bulk of Snapback's form moved slightly higher on the page.

Again, I hope you don't take this as offensive in any way as I am not trying to say the piece is not solid or that it doesn't show strong signs of raw (and growing) talent. It does both.

Just a friendly critique another artist and comic fan.

great pencils not familiar with these characters but the elastic/stretchy guy toasting a marshmellow off fire and ice guy is a sweet touch. job well done.

really nice penciling! but i would consider looking at the anatomy a little bit closer! for example the character above in the middle the head looks kinda big for the torso you gave him, but overall looks nice man!

This is a pretty awesome piece of work...I think the layout is good the way it is, I wouldn't add anything to it at all

Other than the center figure looking like his face is just a little lopsided, it looks good to me, man.
