Description The Scientist's first failed attempt at creating #1, distracted by his animosity for the military's abuse of his creations. Not fueled by a piece of the Scientist's soul, but rather his contempt and anger, 0 operates on pure hate. Crudely contructed out of medical wrap and leather, 0 modified his body with blades, sharp objects and a mask to hide his twisted face.

Ultimately hollow and false inside, he will come to 9 to convince him that he is part of the soul--a legitimate part of their race--using words or force. It will be up to 9 to decide if hate truly belongs within the human soul.

What a fantastic concept, both in idea and in the visual look of the character. And that mask is just creepy as all hell Definitely would have been a great addition to the movie.

I had actually tried a couple different ideas before settling on the light switch mask, but I think it turned out the creepiest!

i really loved that film, i'm suprised they didn't use such a concept in the movie, the design and idea behind this is really interesting and would of been nice to see.

im extremely surprised why this didn't win the design is amazing the overall story of the character itself is quite morbidly enchanting. I like how you've consider anger a part of the scientist's soul and created Zero. Very creative.

No kidding! That judge panel was for Melvins! Glad you like 0, though. I guess I really can't do much with him--he's based on copyrighted movie material, so even though he's my creation, if I wanted to make a movie with him, I'd have to use 9's storyline and characters. I was hoping more that Shane Acker would have seen it and liked it! Oh, well.
